My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 721

I approached him, my lips pressed together. My eyes fell on his chest. "Has anyone called you a snack?"

He started grinning/ "You are definitely the first."

I smiled faintly and sweetly. "I'll go wash up first."

He nodded, it was obvious that he was happy because his eyes had lit up like the star-filled night sky.

As I rinsed my mouth, I looked at myself in the mirror and the image of the Hendrix I saw just now flashed across my mind.

All of a sudden, I felt a little sad. I seemed to be much older. Freya told me that at a woman's most desirable age, she should smile like a flower and always be energetic.

Yes, I was too lifeless.

My stomach churned and I began to puke. All the food I had eaten just now had been puked out.

Hendrix heard the commotion and knocked on the door. "Arianna!"

I vomited until there was nothing left in my body to throw up. I answered him after rinsing my mouth, "It's okay, maybe I've eaten too much."

When I came out of the bathroom, I was pulled tightly into his arms, "I'm so sorry!"

I pursed my lips, knowing how distressed he was seeing me this way.

The doctor said that depression couldn't be completely cured and could only be controlled. Most of the time, I couldn't even tell whether it was because of the illness or because of how I originally was.

Leaning on his arm, I felt calmness sink in. I raised my hand and patted his back to comfort him. "It's okay. It's not a big deal. I'll be fine."

That night, he hugged me very tightly; even tighter than usual.

Freya and Zachary's wedding should have been held much earlier, but due to the press' involvement in all this, they had agreed to hold the wedding at the end of the year.

I responded with a smile, stepped back and said, "Thank you for coming!"

The girl flashed me a smile.

After entering the villa, she asked me to change into a skin-toned, sleeveless dress. Seeing that it was winter, she added an apricot colored velvet shawl to cover my shoulders.

It accentuated my waistline perfectly. Freya's fashion sense had always been the best.

When the girl saw that I had gotten changed, she couldn't hide her astonishment. "No wonder Miss Moore said that you're the most beautiful woman she has ever seen. You look dazzling!"

I gave her a small smile and couldn't help but feel that she was just exaggerating. I said, "Thank you!"

It was a compliment, after all, and it was great for my self-esteem.

When I was about to leave the villa, I bumped into Hendrix who had just come back. He was still wearing his tailored black tuxedo, standing tall and fit. Everywhere he went, he stole gazes and stares.
