My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 692

I opened the door and stuffed the knitted jacket into my waistband. She looked at it and nodded to herself, saying, "Hey, this is perfect with a light tan coat. You can tie your hair up."

As she spoke, she reached out to help me tie a bun.

Freya stood at 1.7 meters tall and was in high heels, so she was a head taller than me.

After she tied my hair up into a bun, she snapped her fingers to call the receptionist over. "Pack up the clothes I just picked, and please help me discard the clothes she changed out of just now. Thank you!"

I was dumbfounded for a moment. "Those clothes can still be worn."

She shrugged. "I know it is from a brand that trended a few years back, but it is now outdated. Why would you still want to wear it? Isn't it good to wear outfits of the latest season?"

I was speechless.

Hendrix had bought me those clothes before moving into the villa four years ago. After I returned from Hovell, he even asked Evan to slightly alter their design. Since they were comfortable, I often wore them and did not care about when they were released.

After hearing what she said, I agreed that I was pretty outdated.

I started buying more things, just as Freya wanted. I needed to take a taxi home while Freya had driven herself without the help of a driver.

Looking at all the bags, we started to get worried about the amount of things we had. She pondered for a while before taking her phone out to call Zachary.

I never thought that a straightforward woman like her would speak in such a gentle tone when talking to someone she admired.

"Zachary, I'm at the shopping mall in the city centre. Come and help me to do some carrying. There is too much stuff and I can't carry all of it!"

I looked at all the bags placed on the ground and felt that she was being a little dramatic. What we had were all clothes and jewelry, so it wasn't like she could not carry them.

After she ended the call, she must have seen me looking at her strangely. With a curl on her lips, she explained, "Women should know when to be weak. It is not that I can't carry all of them, but because I have him, I no longer know how to unlock bottle caps, lift heavy objects, or even walk

She definitely impressed me. I gave her a thumbs-up, found a seat, and sat down.

After walking for a long time, we heaved a sigh of relief when we finally had the chance to sit down and rest. Freya, having been in heels for our whole shopping trip, rubbed her feet and complained, "I will leave the heels at home next time. My feet are killing me."

I was speechless.

"You could wear heels of five or seven centimetres high, as long as they're heels, even the best ones will hurt your feet," I reminded her.

She tilted her head to look at me. While holding her chin, she suddenly laughed, "Arianna, when will you treat me as a friend?"

I was surprised, "Aren't we friends now?"

She shook her head, "Nope, if I am a friend, you will definitely give me cr*p for saying that my feet hurt. However, you just calmly gave me your two cents, which indicates that you see me as an ordinary friend, and not a good friend."
