My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 634

Holding onto the car, her lips lost its rosy color. She was a girl after all, and to be treated by a man like this was a huge blow to her.

Irvin was not a gentleman. He looked at her coldly and warned, "You'd better stay away from her. With your current ability, you're not qualified to do anything to her."

Andrea was terrified. With a deathly pale face, she scrambled back into her car.

To meet Irvin again after four years, there weren't any sentiments to be said, but time sure flew by in a blink of an eye.

Irvin was the first one to break the silence. "Since you're already divorced, why do you still want to live under his roof? You can stay elsewhere. I've bought a place for you, it's furnished with everything you used to like," he said.

I wanted to laugh, but nothing erupted from my chest or left my throat. I looked at him calmly and said, "Despite being divorced, I still bear the ex-wife title. But what excuse is there for me to stay under your roof?"

He frowned and looked a little anxious. "Whatever title you want is fine with me. Whatever you desire,

I'll give it all to you."

I smiled faintly and asked, "Even if I want the title of being your wife?"

His body slightly stiffened. He must have been taken aback by what I said, but he regained his composure before long and stated coolly, "If you're willing, I'd be more than happy to oblige."

I sighed. "Irvin, you're engaged, and Shirley's an amazing girl. Don't discard a treasure that you already own for something less. That would be stupid. We've already talked about this clearly four years ago. We can only stay friends. I love Hendrix and regardless of how much time had passed, it can only ever be him. Life's too short, and I can't possibly care for everyone's feelings. So, I hope you could have a happy ending too, but this is just my wish."

Nerissa was imprisoned for two years, and Andrea was completely disowned by the Moore family. When I left Ucrebury after, this incident had been inexplicably forgotten. If it had not been mentioned right now, perhaps I would've set my mind on Nerissa being the culprit for the rest of my life.

No wonder Nerissa had gone all out to separate Hendrix and I in the past four years. Surely, she hated me.

With a faint smile and hints of coldness in his voice, he said, "I had initially intended for you and Hendrix to completely fall out with each other, but I didn't expect that your relationship would grow stronger instead. What surprised me was that your separation from him was his own fault."

His gaze fell upon me. Any intimacy and gratitude from before had long faded away after years of not seeing each other. All that was left in the current was dissatisfaction for the past. "Since the both of you have already separated, why not completely detach yourself from each other then?" He asked.

I heaved a sigh. Unable to rid myself of his persistence, I looked up at the brilliant sun and squinted. "Irvin, I just want to live my own life, and I want to live it well."
