My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 596

The next day was a weekend, and it was a day off.

Anne wanted to go out to play. Hovell was a small place and there were not many amusement parks. Hendrix drove us to the city center to take a walk and shop around.

I was a little unhappy because he had bought too many things for Anne. "You are spoiling her too much."

There were many kinds of love. Overindulging your kids would be bad for them.

He pursed his lips. "I've missed four years of her growth. I didn't control myself well. I'm sorry."

I was very surprised when I heard the word "sorry" that came out of his mouth.

I nodded and did not continue to fuss about it.

Anne wanted to eat fast food. I allowed it because she only ate it once a month.

The jewelry commercial endorsed by Sierra Noland, a female celebrity who had been gaining popularity in the past two years, was playing on the large LED advertising screen of the mall.

Sitting at the fast food chain, I could see the video more clearly. There was some gossip news about the popular celebrity in the magazine found in the store.

Most of them were related to Hendrix. The reporters did not take pictures of Hendrix's face openly.

In the magazine, he and Sierra were facing each other, with his back facing the audience. It seemed that the photos were taken during an event.

With Hendrix being photographed, this magazine had become even more popular.

"It's just for show!" he suddenly said.

I paused for a moment and turned my gaze away from the magazine. Then, I looked toward him and asked, "What did you order?"

Anne replied excitedly, "The Family Bucket, ice cream, burgers, and fries."

I frowned and asked, "Can you finish them all?"

"Whether it's Andrea or Sierra, it's just for show. If you mind, I won't bring any female partners with me in the future," he said with certainty.

I sighed slightly. "You don't have to do this. I've found my own life trajectory. I know what I want. So, you don't have to worry about me."

He frowned, looking slightly displeased. "So you are angry?"

I shook my head. I really didn't care at all. "No matter who you are with, the reporters and media are just using news to create a buzz. Hendrix, the media may make news of us, but we can't be affected by them."

With a faint smile on his face, he said gently, 'TH cook tonight."

I could not help but laugh.

With a greasy mouth, Anne said, "But didn't we agree to eat outside tonight? We're going to the movies later."

This little fellow was too serious, eliciting our laughter. Hendrix wiped her mouth and said very gently, "Then I'll follow all of your arrangements."
