My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 2014

Hendrix recognized Arianna the moment he saw her, even though she had changed a lot.

It was just that at the time, the only impression he had of "Arianna" was what Nathan had said about her being a fickle woman who had "abandoned her husband and her son". So when he opened his mouth, he threw an insult at her, "Not all women are suited for me."

This was the attitude he had for those who betrayed him. What's more was the fact that his son couldn't recognize his biological mother. He would never allow the woman who had left him and his child to return to his side after being apart for six years.

However, he didn't expect that Wynn would mention his coincidental encounter with his "mommy" at home. Hendrix ordered him to forget about that insignificant person, but he, himself couldn't help but recall her face from the window.

After returning to the Roberts Group, Hendrix was still thinking about what saw from the intersection. The more he thought about it, the more emotional he got, and always had control over his emotions. He clenched his fists and groaned painfully, it felt terribly suffocating for him.

Memories ran wild in his mind.

"Arianna, you've grown!"

"I agree to a divorce."

"Today is Grandpa's funeral!"

"You think too highly of yourself!"

"The child is gone..."

"Ah...!"

A sharp piercing pain pulsated from his scalp as Hendrix fainted.

When he woke up, it was dawn. The memories he had from the past decade had become clearer in his mind.

He had been holding a grudge on Arianna for the past six years!

He stared up into the ceiling stiffly. He felt angry as his veins bulged from his forehead. His eyes turned bloodshot red, he clenched his fists and slammed them down on the floor.

He had recovered most of his memories, but Hendrix had no memory of how he had lost it six years ago. So the first thing he did was to order Evan to investigate the truth of the explosion on the island and the culprit who had hypnotized him.

Before he found any results, Hendrix first received news that his subordinates were with Wynn. He knew that Arianna would appear at the Golden Roof Restaurant, so he had pushed back his itinerary and went to see her.

The Marshall family were keeping a close eye on him, so he tried his best to keep calm. But he could barely contain the joy and excitement in his heart at being able to be with his wife again.

Arianna was standing right in front of him. She was still beautiful, but she had lost weight, and her eyes were dim and lifeless.

She was the light of his entire life, but she had lost her spark.

Hendrix cleared his throat uneasily and didn't even dare to walk into the room to look at her.

Perhaps it was his guilt, or perhaps he just liked competing against her. He wanted to become everything Arianna hated, so that she would stay away from him, forever.
