My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 1896

Nerissa was scared to tears. "No, Sebastian, let my child go. He is your uncle's only child!"

Her cries seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. Sebastian looked over to her, expressionless, as if life and death were just routine matters in his eyes, unworthy of alarm.

It didn't take long for Sebastian to lose his patience. He pointed at Jordan's chest and said, "You have ten seconds to choose, ten, nine..."

Suddenly, a woman's voice suddenly sounded from a distance.

"Sebastian."

Everyone looked towards the source of the voice and saw Evan helping Naomi walk over.

Naomi held a baby in her arms. The vitality of the young girl had faded away, and she looked much gentler than she did before.

She looked at Sebastian and smiled with tears in her eyes. "We finally meet again."

As she spoke, she walked towards Sebastian without any hesitation.

I noticed that Sebastian's facial expression changed again the moment he saw her and the

child.

A look of surprise, confusion, and then a hint of imperceptible befuddlement flashed across his face.

"Is this my child?" The hand that Sebastian was using to hold his gun fell limp on his side.

Naomi smiled gently and looked down at the baby in her arms. "Yes, I didn't have time to inform you. The baby looks like you."

I looked up, and her gravely stern expression confirmed my guess.

"What's going on?" I asked quietly.

Miller frowned. "While you've been here for an entire afternoon, I've been on patrol nearby. The people who just followed Sebastian off the ship aren't the only ones present. There are others who went ashore and have gone to different areas on the island. I followed a few of them and discovered that they were carrying explosives and gunpowder!"

As Miller said the last two words, her voice trembled.

Evan took out his phone and seemed to have received news of some sort. He ushered Naomi and the child towards us and had them watched over by the other bodyguards. He walked towards Hendrix and whispered something into his ears.

Hendrix didn't have much reaction towards whatever he was told. It was as if everything had been part of his plan.
