My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 1783

Tyler Drake had always been the head of the Drake family. Back in the day, they had rapidly developed Jarold City's petroleum industry. After that, they had made various kinds of investments, causing them to earn a lot of money. Later onwards, their venture in the petroleum industry had failed, and they lost their biggest source of income. Every single time they fell into a crisis, Tyler would put in his best efforts to save them. However, they still failed to gain much of an income. Despite that, after the introduction of Bate Coin, Drake Real Estate's shares had skyrocketed, causing their market value to double.

As the secretary served the third cup of coffee, Aaron finally couldn't stand it anymore. He got up and kicked the potted plant in the corner, rustling the leaves.

At the same time, the office door was pushed open from outside, and the secretary led a middle-aged man in a wine-red suit in.

Simon Drake's hair was styled neatly. Although he was nearly as old as Charles, his hair color remained raven black. Only a few unconcealable wrinkles on his face betrayed his old age.

"Aaron, why are you getting so angry?" Simon said politely as he sat down.

A young man slowly walked in. He pulled a chair next to him and sat down. Judging by his appearance, the man was most probably Simon's son, Tyler Drake.

"Aaron, have you never been taught manners? You've come to my company to visit me, yet you're smashing things everywhere. What is the meaning of this?" Tyler teased him as he shut down his phone.

Simon and Tyler were indeed putting on a spectacular fagade.

However, Simon, not caring about Tyler's future at all, had pushed all the blame onto him. In the future, if Simon were to encounter an accident, and Tyler were to cross too many people, causing the Drake family to face a crisis, the public would only watch as they crashed and burned.

If so, there was no need for me to expose them. So, I simply cut to the chase by saying, "There's no need to cause trifle over such a small matter. Let's move on to what we really came here for."

As I spoke, Simon sipped slowly on his tea, as if not giving a care in the world.

"I want to invest in Bate Coin." My voice was raised, but my eyes subconsciously darted over to Simon, who was still acting like a bystander, indifferent.

Not bothering to hide his suspicion, Tyler asked, "Don't you know that Charles, your godfather, was the one who took the lead in opposing Bate Coin? Aren't you being ungrateful by going against him?"
