"What else are you thinking? What did you think I was talking about?" Hendrix asked.
"Nothing. I was thinking the same thing as you. I've asked Aaron to do it tomorrow. Can we have a serious talk now?" I quickly changed the subject.
"Go ahead," Hendrix said.
I let out a sigh of relief. Then I told him everything I had discussed with Aaron.
"As long as we cooperate, there will be a chance to get our son back. What do you think?"
Hendrix was silent. He thought for a moment before he finally replied, "Let's talk about it after the results come out tomorrow."
"But this is Mesville. If we don't prepare in advance, we will miss the opportunity."
After I saw those children that had been separated from their parents in the room, I was even more convinced that I couldn't let my child be left alone in their hands.
Irvin had changed. Sebastian was so inhumane that I could not count on luck alone.
"Did you forget what you had just promised me?" Hendrix said faintly, but his manner was domineering.
I kept quiet and felt powerless.
After a moment, Hendrix allowed me to continue with my plan and said, "I'll let you go ahead with it, but you have to be prepared. My only condition is that the test results turn out fine or that whatever disease you contract can be cured. Only then can your plan be implemented. Your health is our number one priority."
"All right."
"Arianna!" Aaron let go of the doctor and helped me up. "What's wrong? What are you waiting for? Hurry up and give her some medicine. Don't you see how much pain my sister is in?"
His voice was hoarse, and he roared with all his might. The veins on his forehead had popped out.
I wanted to talk, but before I could say anything, a fishy smell arose from my throat. The next second, blood poured out of my mouth and spilled all over the floor. Aaron was holding me, so the blood stained his white shirt and looked particularly striking.
"It's all right, Arianna. Don't be afraid. I'm here. It's all right..." Aaron wiped the blood from my mouth frantically and whispered to me. Then, suddenly, he turned to the doctors, "I don't care what you're thinking of. If Arianna doesn't survive, you all will pay. Take them away!"
Aaron's men obeyed the order and rushed in. A group of men in black subdued all the doctors in an instant.
The guards held knives against the doctors' necks. The male doctor raised his hand to surrender while the female doctor panicked immediately. She yelped several times before the guards threatened her, and she finally kept quiet.
