Yana glanced at her watch and said, "It's only 7:00 pm, and it's barely midnight yet. Is she doing what I think she is?"
I pursed my lips and looked in Andrea's direction. She was wearing heavy makeup and she was dressed in a revealing outfit, despite the fact that it was winter.
With her beautiful features and great curves, it was inevitable that she drew some attention from others. I wouldn't have given it a second thought if this had been some other place.
However, we were at the biggest red-light district in Jarold City. Running into her here, as well as the way she was dressed, left me with a thought in my mind.
Yana was not sure about this. She held onto me as we approached that direction. We could clearly hear Andrea pleading, "Mr. Lewis, you said that you would give me money as long as I keep my promise. I did it already. So how can you go back on your words? You can't do this to me!"
The man was annoyed by her pestering. He took out a few notes from his wallet and threw them at her, cursing.
I was a little puzzled. They were obviously engaged in some kind of deal.
But how was this possible?
Even if Hendrix no longer cared about her, she still had Austin. Why would he let Andrea do this?
Andrea picked up the dollar notes and counted them. Her hands were wrapped around her bare skin, and after she was done counting, she ran back into the nightclub behind her.
We then walked into the nightclub, filled with dazzling lights and alcohol. We arrived at the dance floor first. The DJ was playing some loud music, and a lot of youngsters were dressed in revealing outfits, waving their arms and dancing around to the music.
Yana complained, "F*ck, are they crazy? They look so high!"
As she spoke, she pulled me through the crowd and we came to an open space. We started looking around for Andrea, but we couldn't spot her. Yana couldn't help but ask, "Why is she not on the dance floor?"
I thought for a moment and said, "If she is short on cash, she will be trying to make money right now!"
Yana patted herself on the head and said, "Yes exactly, why didn't I think of that?"
