My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 1353

I couldn't help but frown. It seemed that this was the problem. Well, Estella did save Hendrix. Such a request didn't matter much. Besides, she had also suffered consequences from that incident. Hendrix had no reason to refuse.

Seeing my frown, he asked, "Is the food not good?"

I gave a faint smile and shook my head, "No, it's very tasty. I just feel like I've gained weight recently."

He smiled, "You are pregnant now. Why do you want to lose weight? You need to eat more. Besides, you are not fat!"

Josiah's test results had not come out yet, so we could only wait for the time being. I had always been intrigued about Wendy. Her entire being was a mystery to me.

After we finished eating, Hendrix went on to deal with the company's affairs. I sent a message to Wendy asking what she was doing. Unexpectedly, I received a call from Yana.

Before I could speak, she asked, "Arianna, are you busy?"

I smiled, "No, I just had lunch at Hendrix's company. Have you had lunch?"

She gave an affirmative murmur and said, "Do you remember when I told you I wanted to go wedding dress shopping with you? Are you free this afternoon?"

Glancing at Hendrix, who was busy doing work in his office, I added, "Well, there's nothing on my hands. Stay there, send me the address. I'll come over."

"No, we're not far from you. We'll drive over to pick you up. You can wait for us at the Roberts Group."

After she hung up the phone, I walked up to Hendrix and saw him chatting with Evan on the phone about looking for a kidney donor. I paused for a moment before informing, "Hendrix, I'm going out with Yana."

I understood his good intentions and nodded. I went downstairs to wait for Yana after bidding him farewell. I saw the girls at the front desk chatting with each other. When they saw me, they all smiled and greeted me, and then they kept quiet.

I was a little surprised when I saw some green mangoes by the front desk cabinet. I couldn't help but ask, "Where did you buy these? They're out of stock during this period of time."

After all, it was not the fruit season and Jarold City was placed north. It was difficult to buy ordinary mangoes, let alone green ones.

One of the receptionists smiled awkwardly and said, "I didn't buy it. It was given by Miss Zanes. Her hometown is in the south. She heard that there were some at home, so she specially asked her family to post it to her. Madam, do you like mangoes? Do you want one?"

Looking at the mangoes, I said with a smile, "No, I'm just curious as to why there are mangoes in the north this season. You can keep them."

After that, I walked out of the lobby. Yana and Ethan arrived shortly after.
