My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 1279

He got up from his seat and walked out of the restaurant. I was a little confused and followed him to ask, "Hendrix, can you stop being angry? I really don't know! Just tell me and I won't do it next time! Why are you acting like this?"

He didn't listen to me at all and went straight out of the restaurant. I chased him for a few steps and found that I couldn't catch up with him at all. So I gave up and sat on the steps outside the restaurant, watching him leave.

Probably because I didn't follow him, after walking for a while, he came back for me. "Don't you want to go home?"

I pursed my lips, sat on the steps and looked at him, and said, "What did I do wrong?"

He frowned, "Let's go home!"

I made no move to leave and instead turned to look at him, "Say it now, or we're not going back."

He looked at me with a solemn face and said, "Are you sure you want to do this here?"

I nodded.

I thought he would at least turn back and pull me up, but what happened next wasn't anything I would ever expect in a million years. He got into the car and left without any hesitation.

I was stunned. Watching him drive away, I sat on the ground for a long time. He actually left me here?

All of the apologies in my head turned sour. I could only think about the way he left me here, alone on the streets.

After a while, his voice came from the other end. He said very unpleasantly, "It's a call for you. You were in there so long that a year had already passed. Aren't you afraid that you will die in there?"

Obviously, he wasn't talking to me.

Naomi's voice came, "What did you do to him just now? Why did he get so angry? His words are so vicious!"

I pursed my lips and said, "I thought he was messing around with you just now and scolded him. I want to stay at your place tonight. Tell me the password and let me at least have a place to stay."

She clicked her tongue and said, "What's going °n? Did you quarrel with Hendrix? What happened? Didn't you go to Asherton? What's the matter? Is it about work?"
