I nodded and asked, "Where are you?"
"I'm at the casino!" He said, "I'll come pick you up and take you around!"
I was lost for a few seconds before I fully woke up and realized that he was said something about a casino."Why did you suddenly go to the casino?"
"I was just taking a look. Go get dressed. I'll be there soon!"
After hanging up the phone, I sat on the bed while the rest of my limbs woke up then got up to wash and get dressed. Hendrix walked in as I was putting on my clothes. I took a second to admire the way he was dressed in a casual black suit. Although it was black, it differed from his usual classic style. He looked more energetic and cool, almost like a young man. Actually, he didn't look old in the first place, but he looked a little more chic and domineering when he was dressed more casually.
I shamelessly stared at him in surprise. I said without hesitation, "If I saw your photo on the fashion magazine cover tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised at all."
He looked even more charming with his lips curled into a smile as he said, "You praise is all I need."
Of course, I couldn't be dressed too casually after I saw what he was wearing. I found a black sundress from the closet and paired them with matching high heels. He was a little displeased when he saw my exposed shoulders and back, and covered me with a coat.
I didn't reject it. I looked good.
After a simple but reserved greeting, I found out that the young man's name was Tobias Hayes. He was the grandson of Gerald Hayes and the owner of this casino. I recalled hearing some vague rumors about him due to his unconventional style of doing things.
Tobias leaned back on the sofa and chatted with Hendrix before he shifted his gaze toward me.
"Arianna, you really are a symbol of beauty. Do you always bring her along wherever you go, Mr. Roberts?"
Hendrix echoed the smile and replied with a gentle expression on his face, "I am more at ease when she is by my side as I get older!"
