My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) novel Chapter 1153

"He's busy!" After that, he faced the computer and continued the meeting.

I was speechless.

But I still cut a portion of it and put it in front of him. "Eat!"

He raised his eyebrows. "You don't want to eat?"

"I am on a diet!" He just said that I was fat in the morning, and he still wanted me to eat these desserts.

He said to the screen, "Okay, the meeting is over."

Then he took off the headset and put it down before looking me in their eye. "What do you want to eat?"

Excuse me?

"Hendrix, I'm at work now!"

He nodded. "Yes, I'll ask Evan to send it over."

"I'm not hungry!" He was really a troublemaker.

He raised his eyebrows and stopped talking. He moved the cake in front of me and slowly tapped on the keyboard with his slender fingers. It was strange to see his movements hampered by the injury on his hand.

I opened and closed my mouth a few times but nothing came out..

A knock on the office door interrupted us. Hendrix called out coldly, "Come in!"

Andrea's hands froze mid-air. It took her a long while to retract her hand. A forced smile appeared on her stiff face, making her look a little strange. "That's right. It's company secrets. I shouldn't touch it. I'm sorry, Hendrix. It's my fault for not being considerate."

Hendrix said curtly, "It's fine!"

I thought with Andrea here, I could sneak back to work, but before I could take a step away, Hendrix glanced up at me and ordered, "Arianna, come and help me send this email!"

I was taken aback. "Why me? I'm not suitable and I type slow."

"It's okay. Just type what I say!" Not giving me a chance to argue, he got up from his seat and held it out for me.

I dawdled and he ended up leading me over to sit in the chair he had just vacated. Then he vocalized his email, "The Advance Tech of the Roberts Group ..."

After typing a few words, I couldn't help looking up at him. "These are all your documents. It involves the company's business secrets. I should not be doing this!"
