However, I looked down at myself but couldn't find anything wrong. I looked back at Hendrix and asked for help, "Is there anything on my face? Why are people staring?"
His gaze not leaving mine, he raised an eyebrow then said seriously. "It's because you're too beautiful!"
My mouth opened then closed without a sound. Then I couldn't help it, I laughed. I teased, "Where did you learn such nonsense?"
He took a sip of water and said simply, "Don't wear such a short dress in the future."
I pouted. "It's pretty. Why don't you want me to wear it?"
"Too short!" The two words were extraordinarily frank.
Naomi had said that Hendrix's reaction was a common problem with men. He could cover his woman as much as possible, but when they walked on the street and saw those sexy but beautiful women, they liked to see them very much.
I looked at him and raised my eyebrows. "Andrea and Rowane often wear short dresses too. I think
they look pretty. Why can't I? You can look at others, but why can't I wear them for others to see? Hendrix, it is unfair."
He looked at me with his dark eyes, "Are you the same?"
I thought for a moment and nodded. "Yes!"
He grimaced. "Don't you think you've put on weight recently? Wearing a short dress makes it seem like your legs are thick!"
I grumbled. "I feel that I have lost weight recently. It can't be!"
Butthen I hesitated and asked, "Am I really fat?"
He nodded very seriously, "A little bit!"
Girls sometimes had no confidence in their figure and appearance, especially as he'd never said that I was fat before. For him to have suddenly said this, I wondered that maybe I really had put on weight.
"Eat them!" He pushed. "A diet is the stupidest way to lose weight. If you really want to lose weight, we can go to the gym at night."
I sulked. Although it annoyed me to follow his orders, I gave up trying to argue and ate.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone walking towards us. I looked up and saw that it was Irvin.
Hendrix saw him too, his handsome eyebrows rose, and said. "Good morning, Mr. Granger!"
Irvin paused, then smiled elegantly at us, then greeted Hendrix politely, "Good morning, Mr. Roberts!"
Then he looked at me, and his smile became brighter, "Arianna, good morning, you look pretty today!"
Naturally, I blushed at his praise.
