"Finally, some peace!" Sally collapsed on the sofa, staring blankly ahead.

Glancing sideways, she saw Elijah playing chess with Byron. She called out, "Athena."

Athena, who was looking at a contract, raised her head. "What is it?"

"Your husband was outplayed by my husband!" Sally said earnestly, "I used to think that your husband was uniquely handsome, unparalleled in the world. Even Gideon couldn't compare. But now, Elijah surpasses him!"

Athena laughed helplessly, "Alright, alright, your husband is the most handsome."

She spoke softly, as if she was afraid Byron might hear.

Sally smiled contentedly, "By the way, when are you and Evie heading to Northern Canakey?"

"I still have two group meetings to attend, probably the day after tomorrow? Aiden and Mia will get their exam results the day before."

"The day after tomorrow?" Sally sat up. "Then Elijah and I will just meet you there! We won't go with you."

"Is there something up?" Athena asked reflexively.

"I noticed Elijah has been missing his mentor a lot. It's been ten years since he left the monastery, and he got a call yesterday saying the old monk isn't doing too well. I want to take him to visit."

"Is it far?" Athena asked.

"Not far, just in Ohsalond. I plan to leave tomorrow. I want to give him as much time as possible with his mentor."

"OK." Athena nodded understandingly. "You can head straight to Northern Canakey after your visit."

"Okay!" Sally then lay down again.

But he was careful, ensuring she didn't stay up late.

Sally lazily lay in Elijah's arms, gently touching his cheek. "Are you scared?"

He feared his mentor might still resent his decision to leave the monastery and was also apprehensive about seeing his mentor's aging appearance.

"It's okay." Sally patted Elijah's back gently, comforting, "I'm with you."

Elijah nodded slightly, holding Sally even tighter as if wanting to merge her into his very soul.
