Paul sighed.
He went back to his room.
When Athena came back at night, Paul told her that the class would end tomorrow.
Athena didn't force him.
"Paul, thank you for tutoring Mia these days," she said softly, "You know, some bad things happened to our family. I can hardly take care of myself. Thank you."
Paul thought for a while.
He asked a question that should have been asked a long time ago. "Are you okay?"
Athena was taken aback. She did not expect that Paul would ask this question.
Her eye sockets felt hot, and then she shook her head. "To be honest, no."
Paul glanced at Athena and nodded. "Everything will be fine."
"Yeah." Athena stroked his head. "Work hard in the new semester. Don't always make the dean angry. His hair is gray."
There was a little smile on Paul's face. He nodded. "Okay."
After a brief conversation, Paul went back to his room to sleep.
The next day, Paul finished the last class in winter vacation and was sent back to his home.
There were dirty streets and alleys. Wires piled up in a mess above his head.
Paul walked forward slowly.
He went to the door of his house, unlocked it, and entered.
The old house was inherently damp and prone to mold. He hadn't lived in it for some time, so it had an unpleasant smell.
Paul closed the door and stood for a while in the living room.
He used to like the quiet environment. During this time at Mia's house, Mia often made a lot of noise.
After he returned to the quiet home, he was not used to it.
After Paul grew up, he knew why he was not used to it that day.
He was cared for by so many people. After he returned to an empty home with no one there, of course, he couldn't get used to it.
He put down his school bag and then fetched some water to carefully clean the house.
She was okay with the name Dorian gave her.
Ottilie was a good name.
It was better than the code 781021.
Athena sent Aiden to school first.
The headmaster at the door saw Aiden and walked over to him.
Aiden was a top student in his school. The headmaster had heard about what had happened to his family. At first, he was so anxious that he couldn't eat or sleep.
He was afraid that Athena would not let Aiden come to school after what had happened.
After exchanging glances with Athena, the headmaster was full of gratitude. "Don't worry. We will take good care of Aiden."
"Thank you. Just treat him as usual," Athena said gently and then bent down to look at Aiden. "Aiden, I will send Mia and Ottilie to school."
"Goodbye, Mommy." Aiden nodded.
Then he took the initiative to hug Athena.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup
I am at Chapter 550 and there are almost 2 stories in 1. Aron and Evie's story could very well have been made into another story. Such a waste of time because I am reading for Byron and Athena, not Evie and Aron...
Is there no new updates after this one?...
