The next day, Mia woke up early.
Two sunflowers were already placed in her room.
She was overjoyed.
Quickly changing into the clothes she prepared last night, she happily went downstairs.
"You woke up by yourself?" Athena was preparing breakfast for Mia.
Mia rushed into her arms. "Mommy, thank you for the sunflowers. I love them!"
"It's not just Mommy who gave them to you." Athena signaled toward Byron.
Mia ran over and also threw herself into Byron's arms, stuffing something into his collar.
"What is it?" Byron was a little confused.
"I don't know!" Mia smiled as she opened her arms from his embrace. "Jaxson, I tied my hair!"
She called Jaxson and then disappeared in a flash.
"What do you have that I don't?" Athena approached Byron.
The dad, who was always ranked second to Mommy, inexplicably felt a little proud at this moment, taking something out from his collar.
Then the couple looked at each other.
"Is it an invitation card for the exhibition?" Athena spoke up.
Although it didn't look like the ones they had sent out, this one seemed specially customized.
The outer cover was a hand-painted picture by Mia.
"Yes," Byron remembered something. "When I was still her uncle when Rose took her back that time, she promised me that when she held an exhibition, she would invite me."
As Byron said this, his eyes turned a bit red.
"Our Mia has such a sense of ceremony..." Athena hugged his waist and smiled as she looked at him. "Happy?"
Byron nodded without hesitation.
Then he leaned down and kissed Athena's forehead. "Thank you for giving me everything, honey."
Athena chuckled.
"Good morning." Byron patted Aiden's head as if he had seen through his thoughts. "Don't worry. There's still plenty of time. Let's take it slow."
Aiden responded with a sound.
Then he let go of Athena's hand and went to the dining table to have breakfast.
"Your attitude is really good now." Athena lightly bumped her shoulder against Byron's.
"I have come to terms with it. After being absent for so many years, how can we expect the child to adjust in just a few months?" Byron said softly.
Although Athena knew that Byron had changed a lot, hearing these words from Byron, she couldn't help but feel amazed.
Wasn't this the same one who used to put himself first?
After breakfast, the family of four set off for the art exhibition.
All the paintings from last night were already hung up.
Including Birch Forest, Jesus, and the painting Mia gave to Byron, the one with the four of them.
Especially the one with the four of them. It was placed in the center.

The readers' comments on the novel: My Mommy Became A Billionaire After the Breakup
I am at Chapter 550 and there are almost 2 stories in 1. Aron and Evie's story could very well have been made into another story. Such a waste of time because I am reading for Byron and Athena, not Evie and Aron...
Is there no new updates after this one?...
