- The Truth of Mrs. Lang's Death
Lang was originally waiting for William to shock him to the point that he could beg for his help, but he didn't expect William to see through everything.
Lang stood there weakly;his breathing became heavier and heavier. He glared at William as if he was looking at a ghost. "You ..."
"Daniel!"
William said coldly.
Alice watched as Daniel left and returned. He did not follow William's orders to prepare to retreat; he only came to scam Lang.
Lang was obviously aware of this point and couldn't help but say, "William, are you really not afraid of death? Still not running? "
"The time cannot be completely specific to a few seconds, but I can calculate the time. If I were you, I would choose to set the maximum time limit, such as tomorrow." William said, her voice low and sexy, "After all, so many years have passed, and I can't fully spend it;it just feels terrible. It's not perfect anymore, right?"
"Who the hell are you?"
Lang could not believe it, and asked William how he knew everything. It was too scary.
"My housekeeper thinks you have a compulsion."
William sneered.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Alice looked at Daniel. This was too easy for Daniel to judge, after all; William's craziness had some symptoms of obsessive -compulsive disorder, and was critical of everything; even the furniture that was moving by a centimeter,he would not like it.
For people like them, there's no comfort in not being perfect. It's like there's a lot of bugs gnawing on you.
To Lang, he insisted on waiting for the flower to cover the entire channel and then see the person he loved the most. It was as if he had handed in the most perfect assignment.
Lang was completely silent. His head was lowered by his bodyguards, and the bruises on the corner of his eyes became darker and darker.
"Lang, make a deal." William said coldly,
"Either give me the secrets in your hands, or I will spread the news that Wave Island has a ticking time bomb."
Alice looked at William in confusion. She did not understand what was happening, and her gaze landed on his hands.
He pulled out the needle from the IV drip. The needle hole was bleeding profusely, but he still acted as if nothing had happened.
Really.
Alice immediately took out a tissue and walked over to wipe off the blood, then used a sterile cotton to hold down the needle hole to prevent more blood from flowing out.
'Tm fine."
William glanced at her.
"Are you alright?" Alice rebuked, and glared at him, "What else do you need to do to get out of this mess? Can you be a bit more measured?"
What was he playing at? He was completely ignoring his own body.
William was waiting for Lang 's reply. Hearing this, he raised his eyes and looked deeply at Alice, and suddenly smiled, her smile like a bright flower blooming. "Alice, your glare is really beautiful!"
II II
Alice was speechless. Did he have to tease her so suddenly?
William withdrew his gaze, and when he looked at Lang again, the smile on his face was no longer there. His black eyes looked at Lang, who was forcefully suppressing his panic.
"How about this deal? "
"So what if you spread the news? It has nothing to do with me."
Lang turned his face away.
"Then how will you take your revenge?" William said in disdain.
Lang's body stiffened.
"After so many years, I still haven't found your wife's killer. If I can't find him, then I might as well kill all the people at Wave Island at that time of the accident." William said.
Lang's pupils contracted again and again.
"Channel is too bloody. I used your wife's favorite flower to wash away all of your sins, but people are all mobile, how can you guarantee that when it exploded, the people from Wave Island would still be on Wave Island?" William said word by word, analyzing all the thoughts in Lang's head. "People choose benefits, as long as they have benefits in the Wave lsland;who would leave?"
Alice stood there and kept pressing needles onto William's body. Hearing this, her eyes opened wide in disbelief, "Are you saying that Lang pulled up Wave Island's business to make everyone stay?"
William looked at her, "This is the kind person you speak of."
Alice couldn't help but feel a chill on her body. She looked towards Lang, and saw Lang standing there without refuting. He tacitly agreed.
What a deep thought. If he couldn't find the culprit and killed everyone, the culprit would definitely die within.
In order to prevent others from recognizing him, that was why Lang changed his name and came to Wave Island. As a child grew older, no one recognized him.
Daniel stood at the side, seeing that Lang had no choice in the matter;he said, "Young Master, then I will go down and make the arrangements. Right now, the residents who have received great kindness from the Mr. Lang are still pestering outside the Lang's family, a truly grateful group of people.
"Go."
Shit!
William got angry, extended his hand, and fiercely pushed the book beside him to the ground. He glared at him maliciously, then slammed the table and stood up, "Do you really think that I am so bored?"
"William, why don't we each take a step back. You tie up all the people of Wave Island and I will tell you the location of the bomb. When you guys leave, I will offer you what you want with both hands."
Lang uttered these words in an almost urgent manner. He exhausted all of his strength, and after he finished speaking, he was gasping for air. He almost fainted on the spot, and even his teeth were stained with blood.
"I hate it when people bargain with me!" William sneered while standing in front of the desk, "You're saying this simply because you don't want to hand over the information. What, do you still want to prove your loyalty to Lanchester?"
Lang did not speak.
"Lang, you're the stupidest person I've ever met. Take a good look at these things!"
William threw the information that Daniel had previously sent in onto Lang's face, and the paper fell onto the ground like snowflakes.
Seeing that, Alice could not help but purse her lips; it was for no other reason but because the information recorded was not anything else, but all these years Lanchester family had secretly obstructed Lang from finding the culprit.
There was only one reason Lanchester could do, and that was because he felt guilty about being a thief.
It was not hard to guess that Lanchester was the mastermind behind the assassination of Lang's wife. It was just that Alice couldn't think of a reason why Lanchester would do such a thing.
Lang stood there and lowered his eyes to scan the paper on the ground. Suddenly, his pupils contracted as he struggled to get rid of the bodyguard beside him. He knelt on the ground and picked up the paper with trembling hands. "Impossible, this is impossible!"
William stood there and stared at him coldly and disdainfully.
"No, that's impossible!" Lang shouted with some emotion, "Why did they kill my wife? Why?"
It can't be Lanchester.
How could such a great family have taken his wife's life in such a despicable way?
"Is it very strange?" William sneered, "You know what your occupation is, and you know what kind of contact you have. Lanchester wanted to put all three of you under house arrest, but you just let your wife leave; who knows how much control your wife has over you."
"My wife doesn't know anything!"
Lang roared at the top of his lungs. The veins on his face all bulged out, making him look especially ferocious.
Polly didn't know anything. She didn't know anything.
"If you don't know, then you should know to do it. It's just a dead person. What kind of damage is this to Lanchester?" William sneered, "At that time, you were still of use. Lanchester had to make sure that your wife's death would be a little more beautiful, and they had to find a few Wave Island's people to rape her. Letting go of your young daughter, no matter how you look at it, it doesn't seem that they were going to kill her."
It was an accident.
The perfect accident.
