My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1904

Manfred took Bonnie's pulse. After a moment, he released her wrist but didn't immediately speak.

Crispin and the others anxiously watched him.

"Is something seriously wrong with me?" Bonnie bit her lip. She could still feel the warmth from his touch on her wrist.

Her heart raced as she spoke. Still, she mustered the courage to look at Manfred directly.

Crispin quickly urged, "Manfred, whatever it is, tell us. She's seen countless physicians over the past two years—royal physicians, specialists—but their diagnoses never align. They've prescribed different remedies, but nothing works."

"Yes, you don't have to worry about us. We just want the truth," Vernon Nash, Crispin's son, added.

The three were visibly tense, especially Bonnie.

Bonnie truly feared she might have an incurable disease, a verdict that would shatter her dreams of a future with the man before her. She desperately wanted to be in good health.

Manfred remained calm, his expression neutral, showing no emotion. "Princess Bonnie is simply exhausted. Her inner energy is low, but there's no sign of serious illness."

"No serious illness? Then why the insomnia?" Crispin was puzzled.

Vernon also appeared confused. "Several royal physicians have examined her, and they all gave similar assessments—nothing critical. Some even suggested she read less and spend time in serene environments to calm her mind."

"Dreams often mirror our waking thoughts," Manfred replied.

Vivian's voice was soft as she stood just behind Manfred. Having seen the harm caused by the negative item, she couldn't just stand by, especially if Bonnie might become part of Manfred's future.

The sound of Vivian's voice made Manfred's hand clench around his glass, nearly shattering it and spilling his lemon tea. His face contorted, and Crispin, alarmed, asked, "Manfred?"

Manfred quickly regained his composure. "May I take a look inside your room, Princess Bonnie? Perhaps there's something there causing your sleepless nights."

"Yes, of course," Bonnie replied quickly, her curiosity piqued.

The thought crossed Vivian's mind—was it another cursed copper mirror, similar to the one she'd encountered at the copper mirror store?
