"Who's denying he's intelligent? But you should be well aware of what he's been through since childhood. I've encountered many cases like his.
"These people seem normal on the surface but often talk to themselves. Why? Because something's wrong in their minds—they create an imaginary person. This imagined individual interacts with them and helps them face challenges. It's a condition, but there's no cure for it," Alger explained.
Glen was dumbfounded. "An imaginary person? So his strange behavior these past few days, talking to himself, is because he'd imagined someone? And it's a woman?"
"It seems like he's imagined someone. Over the years, I've seen people who imagine multiple individuals.
"Each imaginary person has a distinct personality, and their speech patterns even change depending on who they're talking to. It's a mental or emotional condition, but there's no medicine for it.
"Didn't you say he spent years isolated in a harsh environment? That's likely what caused this," Alger said, frowning deeply.
If it had been a ghost, the solution would've been simple. But this—there was no way to fix it.
Glen slumped in despair. "Could this really be the case? But when he was playing chess with me earlier, he seemed perfectly normal, no different from anyone else."
Alger shook his head. "He's just hiding it well. Honestly, it doesn't affect him much. As long as there are people around him regularly, or if he can feel the warmth of family, it might improve over time."
"But didn't you say he's destined to remain alone? How is he supposed to feel family warmth with that kind of fate? And a man without a woman by his side—how boring is that?
"He's at an age full of vigor! I don't care—you have to think of a way to break this fate. I'm determined to find him a gentle and understanding wife," Glen said, eyes red with emotion.
Manfred had suffered too much! Otherwise, why would he imagine someone to keep him company?
Alger huffed in frustration, stroking his beard. "I told you—it's not an easy fix. It takes time, and even then, there's no guarantee. Unless you find someone whose fate is even stronger than his!"
When she woke up, she realized she wasn't in the Atkinson household anymore. She was back in Galaxy Villa!
As she opened her eyes, she found herself surrounded by people. Her grandma, Uncle Steven, Uncle Charles, Uncle Harvey, Aunt Mona, Aunt Natalie, Hadwin, and Paul were all there.
She was momentarily stunned.
The next second, the smell of disinfectant filled her nose. Only then did she realize she was in a hospital.
"You... all..."
"Vivian, my dear Vivian! You're finally awake! Do you have any idea how worried I was?" Janine threw herself onto Vivian, crying so hard she was gasping for air.

Is the author going to finally portray Skylark as a brave woman who can argue and communicate like a normal person in this real world? Hoping so.......
I don't like this story portraying Skylark's personality as too weak, too naive, Can't even defend herself Like accepting every humiliation from Vera's schemes and injustice without saying anything or doing anything. I wonder who is the protagonist in this novel, Vera or Skylark....
