My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1829

Hadwin narrowed his eyes, studying Vivian carefully. "Are you hiding something from me?"

There was something off about her today, an air of urgency as if she were rushing to meet someone. Hadwin couldn't shake the feeling that she might be seeing someone.

Recently, she'd been distant—rarely reaching out, always preoccupied with school or taking solo trips to Dewhurst. The thought of her being in a relationship made him frown.

Vivian sighed in exasperation. "What could I possibly be hiding? Stop overthinking. I'm leaving now."

There were secrets she couldn't share with anyone, like her ability to connect with past and present. It was too strange to be believed.

As she brushed off his question and walked away with such finality, Hadwin felt a pang of unease. It was as if someone had taken a flower he had carefully nurtured, plucking it away for themselves. The feeling lingered, unsettling him.

After a moment, he pulled out his phone and called his younger sister, Tyne Powell.

"Hadwin, what's up? You never call me. This must be serious!" Tyne's voice was laced with disbelief.

Hadwin, Tyne, and Ivor Powell rarely called each other. Hadwin usually found Tyne's incessant chatter unbearable.

"Cut the nonsense. I need to ask you something," he replied, his tone sharp.

Tyne chuckled. "Alright, go ahead. What's up?"

Hadwin asked, "Have you been in touch with Vivian much lately?"

Without another word, Hadwin ended the call.

He glanced at the traffic light, a realization hitting him that he had never considered before. Vivian had grown up. While he had been focused on her growing, others had been waiting for that too.

Vivian took a cab straight to her favorite bakery and ordered an eight-inch cake. It would take 40 minutes to prepare. With time to spare, she decided to head next door to the pasta shop and stand in line.

The shop was always crowded, a popular spot known for its delicious dishes. Despite the long wait, the food never disappointed. After a while, she finally got her steaming hot noodles, and her cake was ready too.
