My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1801

Errol was never one to shy away from risks. Being with Annie, who was ten years his senior, didn't bother him in the slightest.

After all, Annie took great care of herself and maintained a fantastic figure. Despite her age and financial independence, Errol considered their relationship deeply rewarding.

Annie's expression hardened slightly, her gaze instinctively shifting to the two women across the restaurant—Skylar and Natalie.

The pair could have easily chosen a more upscale restaurant, yet they sat there, laughing and chatting over simple sandwiches as though they had the world at their feet.

Annie only glanced at them briefly before turning her attention back to Errol. "I'm not repeating myself. I won't take this job. If you need to deal with them, do it yourself. But don't make promises on my behalf."

Errol was startled by her unyielding tone. Over the past year, Annie had always accommodated his requests. But today, Annie was uncharacteristically indifferent and firm.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked cautiously.

Annie stood up, her tone unaffected. "I'm done eating. Take your time."

Her words hung in the air as she turned and walked out of the restaurant.

Errol stared after her, too stunned to eat. Moments later, he hurried after her, only to watch as she crossed the street and entered the sandwich shop where Skylar and Natalie were seated.

He wondered if she didn't like the place he had chosen for dinner. But after a year together, he had never heard her express any particular fondness for sandwiches.

Annie noticed Skylar's hesitation but didn't linger. She walked out of the shop with Errol behind her like a shadow.

Watching them leave, Natalie sighed. "No wonder people go for younger boyfriends these days. He looks like a celebrity. Did you notice he kind of resembles Steven, Skye?"

"Not really," Skylar replied. Steven had been out of Annie's life for years now. Surely, she'd moved on. Besides, plenty of people bore passing resemblances to one another. It was nothing more than a coincidence.

Natalie shrugged. "Well, he's not as handsome as your brother, and he's probably not much younger than Steven. Honestly, I doubt Annie even likes him all that much."

Meanwhile, as Annie stepped into the elevator, her expression darkened.
