My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1724

Alina only realized someone was standing in the doorway when she saw Harvey looking at her.

She froze for a moment before smiling and saying, "Why didn't you go wash your hands and change? I'm almost done here. You don't need to help, just wash up and sit down."

As soon as the words left her mouth, she felt that something was off. She looked up at Harvey again, her gaze lingering as she hesitated before speaking, "You—"

There was something unfamiliar about his gaze, a coldness she didn't recognize. It left her feeling uneasy, unsure of what to make of it.

Harvey seemed to chuckle softly before his gaze turned cold and distant. He said flatly, "I'll go change."

Alina furrowed her brow, puzzled by Harvey's indifference and strange attitude. The sense of unease she had felt over the past few days returned, and she couldn't shake it off.

But she quickly pushed those thoughts aside—she had a meal to finish.

She quickly plated the food and glanced at the three other dishes on the table. These four dishes were her specialties, and Harvey had always requested them whenever he wanted something she cooked.

She couldn't help but feel proud that he liked her cooking.

But Harvey's attitude had been off lately.

She felt a twinge of guilt. Still, a sliver of hope lingered. She was very clear on one thing now—she didn't want to lose him.

A few minutes later, Harvey came back out. He had changed into his loungewear. He looked over at the table, where the familiar dishes she had prepared were laid out.

They were all his favorites, the ones he always loved. But now, as he glanced at them, they felt bland and unappealing.

Harvey was waiting for Alina to initiate the breakup. Unfortunately, days had passed, and she still hadn't brought it up.

He wasn't sure what else she still had to consider.

She didn't think Skylar would tell him, but her mind couldn't help but race with worries.

Harvey watched as Alina avoided his gaze and changed the subject. She wasn't going to admit anything, and he had stopped expecting her to. He wasn't going to force the truth out of her.

He glanced at the dishes, still steaming with their delicious aroma. In a low voice, he said, "I've already had dinner. You go ahead and eat."

"What? What did you eat? I heard from Godfrey that all of you had just finished work. You didn't have time for dinner, did you?" Alina was surprised.

Harvey spoke flatly, "A sandwich."

After that, he stood up. He had decided to end their relationship once Alina finished her meal.

There was no point in wasting any more time.
