Bound To My Mafia Stepuncles novel Chapter 68

Aria’s POV

The room was quiet except for the faint ticking of the clock. I sat at the kitchen table, my fingers curled around the edge, my mind still reeling from everything that had happened. Enzo, Matteo, and Dante sat around me, their gazes watchful, patient. They didn’t push. They didn’t demand answers. They simply let me sit in the thick, suffocating weight of my own thoughts.

Matteo was the first to break the silence. His voice was deep, soothing. We know this is a lot, Aria. We don’t expect you to have all the answers right now.

Enzo smirked, leaning back in his chair with an easy confidence that somehow made my nerves buzz even more. Yeah, princess, you look like you’re about to combust. His tone was teasing, but there was warmth in it, an attempt to ease the

tension.

Dante, the quietest of them all, reached across the table, his fingers brushing against my wrist. The touch was featherlight, but it sent a shiver through me. His dark eyes met mine, steady and reassuring. We just want you to be honest with yourself,he said softly.

I swallowed, my throat dry. Honest with myself. That was the hardest part. Because despite the whirlwind of emotions raging inside me, despite the fear of what this all meantI wanted to know more. I wanted to understand them, their world. And maybe, just maybe, I wanted to be part of it.

Matteo sighed, leaning forward, his elbows resting on his knees. There’s something you should know about us, Aria.

Aboutwhat we like.

I blinked, my pulse jumping. What you like?

Enzo chuckled, tilting his head. We’re not exactly gentle, sweetheart.

Dante nodded, his thumb stroking slow circles on my wrist, grounding me. We don’t want to scare you, but we won’t lie to you either. We like control. We like dominance. We likeroughness.

My breath caught. The way he said it, so calm, so sure. There was no shame in his voice, no hesitation. Just truth. My stomach twisted into a knothalf fear, half something I didn’t want to name.

Enzo grinned, a wicked gleam in his eye. Do you know what a brat is, sweetheart?

My cheeks flamed. I-

Matteo groaned, shoving Enzo’s shoulder. Not the time.

Enzo just laughed. What? I’m just gauging interest.

Dante exhaled through his nose, his grip on my wrist tightening just slightly. The point is, this isn’t just about control. It’s about trust. More than anything./

Trust. That word settled deep inside me. That was what this all boiled down to, wasn’t it? Could I trust them? Did I want

to?

Before I could dwell too much on it, Enzo stretched, standing up with an exaggerated yawn. Alright, heavy talks are over.

Chapter 68

You need to cool off, princess.

I frowned. Cool off?

Matteo smirked, standing as well. Go get dressed.

I blinked, thrown by the sudden shift. For what?

Dante stood last, his fingers tilting my chin up gently. His touch was a whisper, but the way his gaze held mine made my breath stutter. You’ll see. Just trust us.

My heart pounded, my stomach twisting in that same nervous anticipation. But this time, I didn’t argue.

The drive was silent except for the low hum of the radio. The air inside the car was thick with something unspoken, something electric. Matteo sat beside me, his hand resting lazily on my thigh, his fingers drawing slow, deliberate patterns. Enzo drove, his gaze flicking to me through the rearview mirror, his smirk never fading. Dante sat on my other side, his fingers grazing my wrist in that same soothing rhythm as before.

I was suffocating under their attention, under the weight of what was coming next.

Where are we going?I finally asked, my voice softer than I intended.

Enzo grinned. Nervous, princess?

Iscoffed, trying to mask the way my hands clenched together. No.

Matteo chuckled, the sound low and knowing. Liar.

Dante’s voice was quiet, but firm. You’ll see soon.

We pulled up to an unmarked entrance, tucked away in the shadowed part of the city. The building was sleek, modern, with tinted windows that revealed nothing. Two men stood outside, their sharp eyes scanning us as we stepped out of the

car. They nodded at Matteo, Enzo, and Dante before stepping aside, letting us in without question.

The moment I stepped inside, my breath caught.

The lighting was dim, deep red hues casting shadows against the walls. Low music pulsed through the space, a steady, rhythmic beat that seemed to vibrate under my skin. The air was thick with something intoxicatingpower, temptation,

surrender.

People moved around me, some in masks, some in lace, leather, silk. Some lounged against velvet chairs, watching the room with hooded gazes. Others were engaged inacts I couldn’t even begin to process.

My pulse hammered. Is this/

Matteo leaned in, his lips grazing my ear. A place of trust, Aria. No one does anything they don’t want to.

Dante studied me, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of hesitation. Tell us if it’s too much.
