Chapter 62

Aria’s POV

The air in the room was thick, heavy, charged with something I couldn’t name but felt deep in my bones. I stood frozen, my back pressed against the cool wooden dresser, heart pounding so loudly I was sure they could hear it.

Enzo leaned lazily against the far wall, arms crossed over his chest, the dim lighting casting sharp shadows across his face. He was watching me like a predator sizing up his prey, waiting, patient.

Dante sat on the edge of the bed, fingers tapping lazily against his knee. Unlike Enzo, he wasn’t stillthere was an energy humming beneath his skin, a quiet restlessness that made my pulse quicken. And then there was Matteo, standing right in front of me, so close that I could feel the warmth radiating off his body, his scent wrapping around me like something dangerous and intoxicating.

You’ve been avoiding us, princess,Matteo murmured, his voice smooth, quiet, but carrying an edge I couldn’t ignore. His fingers brushed along my chin, forcing me to look up at him, to meet his eyes even when I wanted to look anywhere else.

I swallowed, my throat suddenly dry. No, I haven’t,I said, but even to my own ears, the words sounded weak.

Dante let out a low chuckle from the bed, dark and amused. Lying’s a bad habit, sweetheart.

The room felt smaller, the space between us nonexistent. Enzo finally moved, pushing off the wall and closing the distance in a few slow, deliberate steps. My breath hitched as his knuckle brushed along my cheek, featherlight but sending a shiver down my spine.

You don’t get to run from us, Aria,he said, his voice quiet, but there was something firm, unshakable in it, like a vow.

My chest rose and fell too quickly, panic and something else entirely knotting together inside me. I wanted to move, to step away, but Dante was already behind me, his hands resting on my hips, fingers pressing just enough to keep me in place.

Matteo’s thumb traced along my jaw, his gaze locked onto mine like he was daring me to look away. You keep acting like you don’t want this, but we can hear your heartbeat, princess.

I hated that he was right.

Dante’s breath was warm against the back of my neck. Let us take care of you.

Something inside me twisted, my instincts screaming at me to resist, to push them awaybut my body had other ideas, My pulse betrayed me, my breathing hitched, and I felt the way my muscles tensednot in fear, but in anticipation.

Matteo’s thumb brushed over my bottom lip, and my lips parted slightly at the touch, as if inviting something I wasn’t ready to name.

Tell us no,he murmured, his voice á challenge, a test. And we’ll stop.

The word was there, waiting on the tip of my tongue. I should have said it. I should have shoved them away, should have

walked out.

But the word never came.

And they knew it.

His fingers trailed down my arm, slow and deliberate, sending a shiver through me that I couldn’t suppress. Matteo watched me, his gaze heavy, knowing. You’re trembling, princess,he murmured, his lips just barely brushing my temple. Are you scaredor excited?

Lopened my mouth to answer, to deny the way my body betrayed me, but Enzo’s hand slid around my waist, pulling me back against him, his breath hot against my ear. Careful, sweetheart,he warned, voice laced with amusement. Lie to us, and we might just have to prove you wrong.

Dante chuckled from where he leaned against the bed, arms folded, eyes dark with mischief. She likes this more than she wants to admit,he mused, tilting his head as if reading me like an open book. Don’t you, Aria?

I clenched my jaw, refusing to answer, but the warmth pooling in my stomach and the way my breath hitched when Matteo’s fingers brushed my collarbone told them everything they needed to know.

Matteo’s fingers ghosted over my throat, barely there, yet I felt it everywhere. My breath hitched, and his lips curved, as if he knew exactly what he was doing to me. Enzo’s hands tightened on my waist, firm and possessive, keeping me right where he wanted me. Still not answering?he murmured, his voice rough, teasing. That’s cute.

Dante pushed off the bed, stepping closer, his presence making the air thick and charged. She’s stubborn,he mused, eyes gleaming with something dark, something dangerous. But her body-He reached out, tracing a featherlight touch down my bare arm, making me shiver. Her body is honest.

Heat coiled low in my stomach, my heart pounding so hard I was sure they could hear it. Every touch, every whispered word unraveled me, yet they weren’t rushing, weren’t pushing too far. They were playing, testing, waiting.

Matteo’s fingers trailed lower, stopping just above the neckline of my top, his thumb stroking the exposed skin there. You know we could make you beg,he murmured, his voice like silk and sin.

Enzo leaned in, his lips brushing my ear. But we won’t touch you, not yet.

Dante smirked, stepping even closer until there was nowhere left for me to run. Not until we go over the rules,he said smoothly. Not until you tell us exactly how far you’re willing to go, Aria,

Matteo caught my chin, tilting it up so I had no choice but to meet his eyes. Because when we do touch you,he murmured, voice a quiet promise, we want to hear you beg for it

Enzo was the first to pull away, his lips dragging from my jaw to the corner of my mouth, lingering just enough to make me chase his warmth before he smirked and stepped back. Get some rest, princess,he murmured, his voice thick with amusement. You’ll need it.

Matteo’s fingers skimmed my waist before he leaned down, pressing one last kiss to the side of my neck. It was soft, almost tender, but the weight of his presence left a mark deeper than any bruise. Sweet dreams, Aria.
