Chapter 48
Sure! Here’s the chapter written from Arla’s POV, with increased sexual tension, descriptive details about the triplets, and a slightly naive, impulsive tone to match a 13–year–old’s perspective.
Aria’s POV
I was trying to be normal. Trying to act like nothing had happened the night before.
Like I hadn’t felt Dante’s lips on mine, hadn’t shivered when Matteo’s breath ghosted over my skin, hadn’t nearly melted when Enzo’s hands brushed against my waist.
Nope, I was totally fine. Completely normal. Totally.

Except I was not.
Because the moment I stepped into the kitchen that morning, they were already there.
Dante was standing by the counter, scrolling through his phone, looking ridiculously put together for someone who probably hadn’t even tried. He was in a fitted black button–down with the sleeves rolled up, exposing those strong forearms that I definitely wasn’t staring at. His dark hair was a little messy, like he’d run his fingers through it too many times, and I had the insane urge to reach up and smooth it down.
Matteo was perched on the kitchen island, his long legs stretched out, looking every bit like a king lounging on his throne. His white shirt was unbuttoned just enough to make my stomach do this weird twisting thing, and his smirk–ugh, that stupid smirk–told me he knew exactly how good he looked.
And Enzo. He wasn’t even looking at me, but somehow, he was the worst of all. Sitting at the table, one hand wrapped around a steaming cup of coffee, the other drumming against the wood. His dark green sweater hugged his frame, making his shoulders look broader, his arms thicker. He exuded quiet danger, the kind that made my skin tingle.
Three of them. Sitting there like they hadn’t completely ruined my ability to function.
I swallowed hard, gripping the strap of my bag like it was my only lifeline. “Morning.”
Dante looked up first. His eyes, sharp and unreadable, flickered over me. “You slept late.”
Not a question. An observation.
I bristled. “What, do you guys track my sleeping schedule now?”
Matteo chuckled, stretching his arms over his head, making his shirt ride up just enough to reveal a sliver of tan skin. 1 definitely did not look.
“You were thinking about us, weren’t you, princesa?” His voice was a lazy drawl, teasing and full of something I wasn’t ready to name.
I rolled my eyes. “In your dreams, Matteo.”
“I’d rather you be in yours,” he murmured, his smirk deepening.

I hated him. I really, really did.
Dante sighed, clearly already done with the conversation. “We have an event tonight. A pala.”
I blinked, “Okay?”
“You’re coming with us.”
1 choked. “Excuse me?”
Enzo finally spoke, his voice as smooth and deep as ever. “It wasn’t a request, Aria.”
I stared at them, waiting for one of them to laugh and say this was a joke. But they didn’t.
I crossed my arms. T’m not going to some fancy party with you guys. That’s Insane.”
Dante arched a brow, stepping closer, I caught a whiff of his collogne–dark, rich, something almost spicy that made my head spin. “Why not?”
I faltered. “Because I don’t want to.”
Matteo hummed, hopping off the counter in one smooth motion. He walked toward me with slow, deliberate steps, his hazel eyes gleaming with mischief. “Or is it because you do want to, and it scares you?”
My breath hitched. “You’re so full of yourself.”
He grinned, getting way too close. “And yet, you’re blushing.”
I shoved past him, making a beeline for the door. “I’m not going”
Enzo’s voice stopped me in my tracks. “I want you there.
at my
That made me pause. My heart stuttered, my fingers twitching at my sides.
Enzo never asked for things. He never admitted to wanting anything.
I turned to look at him, and for once, there was no mask. Just him, staring at me like I was something important. Like I
mattered.
And just like that, I knew I was going.
I sighed, rubbing my temples. “Fine. But I don’t have anything to wear.”
Dante’s lips curved up, but it wasn’t quite a smile. “We already took care of that.”
I didn’t even want to know what that meant.
A few hours later, I stood in front of my mirror, staring at the dress they’d sent.
It was sleek. Black. Hugged every curve I didn’t even know I had.

It made me look… dangerous.
I swallowed. “It’s too much.”
When I stepped into the grand entrance where they were waiting, the reaction was immediate.
