Bound To My Mafia Stepuncles novel Chapter 181

Aria

First Person POV

I was still standing in the middle of the room, arms crossed, heart beating way too fast. The air between us was thick and warm and heavy from everything that had just happened on the balcony. My lips still felt swollen from kissing him. My thighs were still trembling from the way he had touched me, held me, looked at me.

Enzo’s eyes hadn’t left mine since we stepped back inside. He was quiet. Calm. That kind of calm that made your stomach twist, because you never knew what he was thinking. He walked over to me, slow and smooth, and gently took my hand like he was asking without words.

Come shower with me,he said.

That was all he said. Nothing more. His voice was soft but clear, like this was the most normal thing in the world. Not a question. Not a command. Just a quiet offer.

I should have hesitated. I should have asked why. But I didn’t. I just nodded.

He led me to his room. I had never been in there before. It was quiet. Minimal. Dark colors. Cold floors. But it smelled like him. Clean and expensive and warm. The bed was big, the sheets perfectly smooth. There were no clothes scattered around. No mess. Just a watch on the nightstand and a folded shirt on the chair.

He let go of my hand and walked into the bathroom without saying a word.

I heard the sound of water starting. The sharp hiss of the shower turning on. I stood by the edge of his bed, not knowing where to look or what to do with myself. My fingers played with the edge of the silk robe I was still wearing. I suddenly felt too warm again.

Then Enzo came back.

He was only in boxers.

And my mouth went dry.

His chest was bare. His stomach was lean and strong. His skin looked golden in the soft light from the bathroom. Water had already misted his arms from testing the shower. His hair was a little messy, and he was looking at me like he already knew I had been staring.

You’re doing that thing where you pretend you’re not staring,he said, voice low.

I looked away, even though we both knew it was too late for that.

He walked toward me. His eyes dropped to the knot of the robe around my waist.

Let me,he said.

His fingers undid the tie slowly. No rush. No teasing. He opened the robe gently, brushing it off my shoulders until it slid down my arms and onto the floor. His hands stayed on my waist for a second, warm and firm. I could feel his breath on my skin. He looked at me like he was trying to memorize me.

Then he took my hand again and brought me over to the mirror.

It was tall. Silver framed. Clear. My body looked small standing in front of it. My cheeks were already red. I couldn’t look at my reflection for too long. I started to turn away, but Enzó stepped behind me and placed his hands on my hips.

Look at yourself,he said softly.

Chapter 181

I didn’t answer,

You have no idea how beautiful you are,he said, right against my ear.

I closed my eyes, but he pressed a soft kiss to my temple, then my cheek, then lower, along the line of my jaw. I opened my eyes again. Our reflections stared back at me. Him behind me. His hands smoothing over my waist. His mouth finding my shoulder.

You always hide,he said quietly. Like you’re not allowed to be seen. Like you’re not allowed to want things. But you are.

I’blinked hard,

His lips kept moving across my skin. Small kisses. Gentle ones. His hands slid up slowly, over my ribs, down to my thighs. He touched me like he was learning me. Like he didn’t want to miss a single inch. I let him. I leaned back into him and let his warmth wrap around me.

Then he suddenly bent and lifted me off the floor.

I yelped. Enzo,I half laughed, half gasped.

What?he said. You think I was going to let you walk? I told you I’d take care of you.

He carried me into the bathroom. The steam had already filled the room. The glass of the shower was fogging. The air smelled clean and warm

and sweet.

He stepped in first and pulled me with him.

The water was hot but not too hot. It hit my back and made my skin prickle in a good way. I tilted my head back and let it soak through my

hair.

He grabbed the soap and started scrubbing my shoulders first. His hands were strong but gentle. He massaged slow circles into my muscles. I closed my eyes and sighed.

He moved to my arms next, then down my spine. I did not say a word. I just let him take care of me. It felt good. Too good. I had not been touched like this in so long. Not just for want, but for comfort. For care.

Then I reached for the soap and told him to turn around.

He raised his eyebrow but obeyed.

I scrubbed his back. Slowly. My fingers ran down his spine and over the hard lines of his muscles. He shivered once when I hit a sensitive spot and I smiled.

You’re ticklish,I said.

No I’m not.

Yes, you are.

He turned around suddenly and grabbed my waist again, making me squeal. We laughed. It felt good to laugh. He pressed his forehead against mine, water dripping down his face.

Then the mood shifted again.

His hands slid down to my hips. He pushed me gently against the shower wall and leaned in. Our mouths found each other like magnets. The kiss started soft but didn’t stay that way/

It grew fast.
