Chapter 721 Schemes
When Faye finished her words, the bodyguard who talked to Faye frowned, turned and knocked at the door, and entered the private room.
After a while, the bodyguard came out and respectfully made a "please" gesture to Faye, "Ms. Nash, please."
Faye ignored him and stepped into the door.
In the room, Wallace was dressed in famous brand casual clothes and was making tea pretentiously.
It could tell that Wallace was not an elegant person in daily life. His every move was more like crude imitation.
Wallace didn't stand up to greet Faye when he saw her. He put on a full manner and said slowly, "What kind of tea does Ms. Nash usually like to drink?"
Faye pulled out a chair and sat down. "I don't like tea."
Wallace raised his head unexpectedly when he heard her response, "Oh?"
Faye ignored the exaggerated expressions on Wallace's face and did not have redundant facial expressions. She cut to the chase in a calm voice, "What kind of deal do you want? Just say away."
Faye's directness surprised Wallace.
Wallace was stunned and laughed, "Ms. Nash, we are all insiders. You refused a bodyguard search at the door just now. How can I be sure you didn't bring anything like a recorder?"
Faye said, "How do you want me to prove it?"
Wallace put down the teapot in his hand and said, "We still have to frisk. Otherwise, how can you prove it?"
Wallace finished and looked at Faye from top to bottom with meaningful eyes and said, "Since Ms. Nash is unwilling to let the bodyguards search you, well..."
Before Wallace finished speaking, Fay reached for the cup in front of him and splashed the tea on his face.
Faye smiled with a hint of mocking when she heard his words.
Facing Faye's scornful smile, Wallace frowned and said, "Ms. Nash, Aniston is now the cash cow of Farrell Media. She receives more than that when she endorses an advertisement. You won't lose the deal by paying twenty-eight million dollars to keep your cash cow."
Faye sneered, "It's not up to you to decide whether we lose money or not."
Wallace silenced for a while, he gritted his teeth and asked, "How much can you offer?"
Faye leaned back in her seat and said calmly, "Since Mr. Fisher wants a good deal, you must be honest. Without honesty, how can you get a high price?"
Wallace said, "Be honest about what?"
Faye said, "For example, who gave you this recording? For another example, who was behind all this and gave you the nerves to fight against Farrell Media?"
