Chapter 698 Weak Kinship
The most important thing to be a man was to know who he was and put himself in the right position.
A suitor must act like a suitor.
It was important for Ethan to maintain a relationship with his future brother-in-law.
But compared to that, it was obviously more important to win the affection of Violet.
Hearing Ethan's words, Saylor stared at him bitterly, and said through his clenched teeth, "Ethan, do you know the word "integrity"?"
Ethan said calmly, "I am illiterate. I was not good at studying when I was a child."
Saylor was speechless, thinking, "He is not only unkind but a liar. A well-known lawyer in Cocanel actually said that he was illiterate!! And he said it so frankly as if I was talking nonsense. He's not qualified to be my brother-in-law."
Saylor started to despise Ethan in his heart.
After struggling for a while, Saylor turned to look at Violet, bravely took a few steps forward, and stopped when he was two steps away from Violet. "Violet."
Violet smiled gently. "Be closer."
Saylor said, "I think this is close enough."
Violet said with a cold smile, "I don't want to beat you in public."
Hearing Violet's words, Saylor involuntarily shivered.
Obviously, he had been beaten by Violet when he was a child.
Saylor said pitifully, "Sister."
Violet said, "I'll count to three."
"Three."
At the same time, Saylor stepped over to her quickly, pouted, and said, "I knew it. You always say three directly."
Ethan smiled. "It's good. I'll not feel lonely."
Colin added, "Faye is hard on the outside and soft on the inside, and Ms. Rowan is soft on the outside and strong on the inside."
Ethan said, "Each has its own advantages."
Colin joked, "If Ms. Rowan goes back with us, I'll get you some ointment in advance."
Ethan laughed and after a while, dropped his smile. He turned his head to look at Colin, "Can you stop calling her Ms. Rowan?"
Colin tilted his head and asked, "What? Does it sound distant?"
Ethan looked at Colin in silence, his eyes darkening.
Colin saw the light and tutted, "Sure enough, the more aloof a man is, the dirtier his thoughts are."
Colin paused, and continued to tease, "Ethan, I really envy you and Abbot. You have Ms. Rowan and Abbot has a pure college girl."
