Hearing Colin's words, Ethan lifted one foot to kick him.

Colin dodged flexibly and smiled. "Has Ms. Rowan contacted you?"

When it came to Violet, Ethan stopped smiling. "No."

Colin laughed and bantered with him. "Is she so adamant?"

Ethan bowed his head to drink coffee. "Yeah. She is very stubborn."

As soon as he finished speaking, Faye walked in from outside.

Ethan and Colin had a tacit silence.

Faye approached and took out her phone from the pocket and handed it to Ethan. "I just recorded the conversation with them. You can judge if it can be used."

Ethan took the phone and played the recording.

"If... if I tell you, will you let me go?"

"No."

"It was really the first time I had done such a thing. Please don't kill me."

"I give you thirty seconds to tell me the mastermind. Who say it first will be sent to the police station to accept legal sanctions, and the other one..."

There were intervals in the recording, which could prove its authenticity.

After listening to the recording, Ethan turned off the phone and handed it back to Faye. "Keep it. Maybe it can come in handy."

Faye took a seat and said calmly, "The two men were sent to the police station."

Hearing this, Ethan raised his eyebrows in surprise.

Seeing his expression, Faye smiled. "I'm not stupid. I won't do illegal things for those people."

Ethan gave her a smile and looked at Colin. "Faye deserves to be the wife of a serious businessman."

Colin said, "We are all serious and decent people."

Ethan nodded in reply. "Well, I believe it."

Coming out of Ethan's villa, Colin drove Faye back to Fennth Community.

Along the way, Faye leaned against the passenger seat and tilted her head to look out of the window, with no obvious expression.

This night, everyone was doomed to be unable to sleep.

Faye always felt uneasy, but she couldn't be sure where the uneasiness came from.

In the next morning, Faye was driven by Colin to the community where Jake lived after breakfast.

Colin stood downstairs and watched Faye go upstairs. He took out his phone from his pocket and dialed Maxwell's number.

The ring tones rang for a few seconds, and Colin got through to the other end of the phone.

Colin asked in a low voice, "Is everything done?"

Maxwell's voice was hoarse. Colin knew that he had stayed up all night. "Ten o'clock. Conda Nursing Home"

Nursing home?

Colin frowned lightly. "Where is this place?"

Maxwell pinched his eyebrows with two fingertips, with a pair of bloodshot eyes. "My mother lives there."

He paused and added, "Don't worry. I've fixed it all up. No one can enter there except people involved."
