Chapter 648 Kneeling
Before Faye was able to answer Colin, there was a crisp sound came from the kitchen door.
Colin and Faye turned their heads at the same time.
Cindy looked embarrassed, with a broken bowl at her feet.
She was flustered. "Mr. Farrell, Mrs. Farrell."
In contrast to her panic, Colin looked calm. He asked with a smile, "Cindy, would you like to watch TV?"
Cindy waved her hands again and again to refuse. "No, I'm good."
Then she bent down to pick up the broken pieces of the bowl on the floor.
She wouldn't be so reckless.
How could she sit and watch TV while her master was kneeling on the remote control?
Cindy stood up and smiled awkwardly at Colin and Faye. "I, I am gonna clean up the pieces."
After speaking, Cindy walked into the kitchen and got out the cleaning tools to clean up the pieces and the soup on the floor.
After Cindy cleaned up the mess, she hurried into the nanny's room and did not dare to come out again.
Before entering the room, Cindy said to Faye, "Mrs. Farrell, there are edible bird's nests in the kitchen. Some are warm and some are iced."
"Thank you, Cindy."
Cindy smiled back in embarrassment. "My pleasure."
Then Cindy went into her bedroom. She not only quickly closed the door, but even locked it.
Faye stood at the entrance hall and listened. Her mood, which had been suppressed for a day, suddenly improved a lot for no apparent reason.
Colin knelt up straight and said in a deep voice. "Honey, do you want to eat the edible bird's nest?"
Faye entered the living room on her slippers. "Okay."
"Would you like me to serve you?"
Faye glanced at Colin's face and then at the remote control under his knee. She was silent.
Colin's tongue pressed against his cheek. "I'm just gonna stay on my knees."
Faye still didn't say a word, but the corners of her mouth turned up in a slight smile when she turned to go to the kitchen.
Seeing Colin's silence, Abbot raised his eyebrows quizzically, "Colin, why don't you speak?"
"I don't want to speak."
"Huh?"
Colin said solemnly, "Recently I believe in Buddhism."
Abbot was confused. "What does it have to do with believing in Buddhism?"
Colin didn't bat an eyelid. "The Buddha said mind your own business."
"Which Buddha said that?"
"My Buddha."
Abbot was speechless.
Abbot looked at Colin across the video. After a while, Abbot lowered his head and leaned in front of the phone. "Colin, I thought I saw Faye. She is sitting on the sofa. She seems taller than you. Are you squatting?"
There was a faint smile on Colin's face. "I'm kneeling."
