Chapter 586 Let the Cat Out of the Bag

When Saylor finished speaking, Ethan's expression became stern.

Seeing that, Saylor made a sound of 'tsk' and said the word "coward."

After that, he walked to the kitchen with all the plastic bags and said, "Mr. Bond, make yourself home. Take a seat."

Ethan looked at Saylor's leaving and was silent for a while. Then, he walked to the couch and took a seat.

As soon as Ethan sat down, Violet came over with a cup of tea.

She bent down with the teacup in her both hands and handed it to Ethan.

Ethan reached out and took it. His eyes unintentionally glanced at the neckline of Violet's nightdress. He moved his eyes away quickly and said, "Thank you."

Violet was feeling awkward at that moment and she didn't notice any difference in Ethan's expression. She asked, "Did Saylor call you and say that I want to eat lamb stew?"

Ethan answered honestly, "Yeah."

When Violet heard that, she seemed to feel bad. She took a small breath and said, "Actually..."

Violet was about to tell him about her relationship with Saylor. Suddenly, Saylor came out of the kitchen and walked to Violet quickly. He stretched out his arms, put them around Violet's waist, and asked, "Violet, I will make the lamb stew for you later. Okay?"

Violet turned her head to look at Saylor and her eyes were full of warnings.

Saylor didn't seem to be afraid and hugged Violet even tighter. He said, "Mr. Bond is not a stranger. You don't have to be shy."

Saylor grinned, leaned his head over to Violet's ear, and said, "Don't you want to know how Ethan thinks of you?"

Violet said firmly, "I don't."

Saylor straightened his body and said vaguely, "You don't but I do."

Ethan didn't know what they were talking about. But as an adult, listening to their words, it would make one's fancy run wild.

Ethan was holding onto the teacup with his eyes down and did not speak. No one could tell how he was feeling.

Saylor glanced at Ethan with his hand on Violet's waist got tightened.

Violet glared at Saylor.

After Saylor finished speaking, he went into the kitchen. Ethan and Violet sat on the couch and they were looking at each other quietly.

After a long while, Ethan took a sip from the teacup in his hand and said in a deep voice, "How did you meet him?"

Violet was wandering when he asked the question. It took her a while to respond, "Who?"

Ethan said, " Saylor."

Violet bit the bullet and said, "We've known each other since we were kids."

Ethan said in a low voice, "Childhood's friends?"

Violet stuttered, "That..."

Ethan continued, "You don't have to answer if you don't find it comfortable."

Ethan picked up the filled glass in front of him and finished it. Then, he said in a cold tone, "If you are a good boyfriend, you shouldn't be asking about her ex."

Saylor raised his eyebrows and seemed confused, "Huh?

Ethan looked at Saylor coldly and explained, "When you are asking these kinds of questions, are you trying to give yourself a hard time or her?"

After Ethan finished speaking, Saylor turned his head to look at Violet with a smile and mouthed some words, "Did you see that? He is such a decent man."

Violet was speechless.

After Saylor finished talking to Violet, he looked at Ethan and said, "Well, men are possessive."

Ethan finished the wine in his glass again and said in a low voice, "Let's go out. I have something to tell you."

After Ethan finished speaking, he got up and walked to the door.

Saylor smiled playfully and followed him immediately.

The two walked to the corridor and Ethan said coldly, "Close the door."

Saylor didn't know why but he closed the door with his backhand. When he turned around and was about to take out the cigarette case from his pocket to offer Ethan a cigarette, he was kicked by Ethan directly to the wall, which caught him by surprise.

Ethan didn't make that kick with all his strength but for someone as weak as Saylor, it was enough to kill him.

Saylor burst into tears and looked up at Ethan, "What's wrong with you all of a sudden?"

Ethan strode forward, squatted down, and grabbed Saylor's collar. His tone was as cold as ice and said, "Didn't you just ask me if I like Violet? My answer is yes."

When Ethan finished speaking, Saylor looked over his shoulder to the door and said, "Sister, he hit me!"
