Chapter 579 Put on a Show

Colin spoke in a serious tone. Then he withdrew his gaze and looked at his phone thoughtfully.

Robert looked at Colin in the rear view mirror, and the corners of his mouth twitched.

Robert dared to wager that his boss, looking so grave, was not thinking about the grim situation outside the window.

Without waiting for Robert to think about it, the commercial car that was advancing side by side had already deviated from the lane and approached them.

Robert glanced at that commercial car placidly through the window.

Colin said, "Robert, don't let them see the flaw."

"Got it."

Just as Robert finished speaking, the car on the left suddenly hit Robert's car body.

Robert frowned slightly and played it cool. But in order to play a state of panic, Robert deliberately honked his horn several times.

When those people heard Robert honking the horn, instead of stopping, their car crashed into Robert's car body three or four times in succession.

Due to inertia, Robert's car nearly hit the right guardrail.

Robert said, "Mr. Farrell, these people don't seem to be the subordinates of Brandon."

Colin sneered. "Of course not. How could Brandon be so stupid as to use his own people to do such a thing?"

"There are desperadoes who accept someone's money to save him from disasters," Colin said, turning his phone around.

Robert said, "There are a lot of daredevils."

Colin said dismissively, "They may not have time to spend the money they have spent their lives for. "

For the rest of the time, Colin and Robert were silent.

The car in front of them kept moving at a constant speed, while the cars behind them and on their side kept coming closer.

Robert held his breath, observing the direction of the car's tires on the left. Seeing the driver tilt the car 30 degrees, Robert said in a deep voice, "Mr. Farrell, hold on."

Then Robert had the right moment to turn the wheel and go straight into the right guardrail.

There was a loud bang and the driver's airbag went out.

Robert grunted, gritted his teeth and asked Colin, "Mr. Farrell, are you all right?"

A sharp pain shot through Colin's arm, but he was in denial. "I'm okay."

At that time, those people in the cars were all overwhelmed.

"Whose car hit it?"

"Lawson's car?"

The lobby manager was speechless.

Faye hung up the phone, sat up against the bed and pressed her lips. She was still a little shaken up.

After calming down, Faye turned on her phone, saw the text Colin sent and then she replied, "Morning, I just woke up. I love you too."

After sending the text, Faye let out a long sigh.

Colin got Faye's text just as he was being loaded onto a stretcher.

One of Colin's arms appeared to be dislocated, and it was too painful to lift it. Struggling to hold the phone in one hand, Colin sent Faye a voice message, "I have a meeting. I'll talk to you later."

When Colin finished speaking, a thin layer of sweat broke out on his forehead.

The two medical staff carrying the stretcher looked at Colin, and one of them said, "You can't do this. You have to inform your family. In your condition, you need to be hospitalized. How can you do that without your family?"

Colin gasped in pain and closed his eyes. "I have family."

Colin paused, gritting his teeth, and dial Abbot's number.

When the call was connected, Abbot's voice sounded like he was looking for a beating, "Are you still alive?"

"Come to the hospital."

"I'm the only one you can count on in a moment like this, right?"

Colin took a deep breath. "I advise you to be kind."
