As I scanned the area I saw a large wooden box in the corner as I neared it I smelled a mixed scent that had my wolf
growling in my head.
Pup, protect pup how dare they hurt my pup.
My confusion grew I didn’t have a child why was my wolf so on edge and what pup was she talking about.
I reached the crate and could see small holes on the top I used my claws to break the lid of the crate. What I saw had me wanting blood.
A little boy of about three years was cowering in the corner as I smelled his scent I knew that they had drugged him with
wolfs bane to make sure he was weak.
But why would they want a little boy anyway what was so important about him that the hunter would give his life
protecting that secret.
THI
As I looked over the boy I had a sudden urge to grab him close and never let him go and slit the throats of anyone who dared hurt him. The protectiveness I felt towards this boy both frightened and confused me.
He is our pup it is natural to protect what belongs to us no one shall harm him NO ONE.
He is not my pup though how nave never met
this little boy in my life. Though I couldn’t help buy renagrils hus
cuteness and my protectiveness over him.
He is our pup blood of what belongs to us. He is ours to protect and care for.
Before I could delve any deeper a loud whimper came from the boy I saw that my warriors had come to take a look at what was in the box.
I growled loudly making them all step back with shocked looks on their faces. I stepped closer to the box the boy had stopped whimpering and looked at me hopefully..
“Its okay sweetheart we won’t hurt you your safe know we won’t let anybody hurt you okay.” I calmly whispered to him.
I let him come to me holding my arms out towards him whilst he looked at me after a moment he slowly inched towards me and jumped into my arms.
He hugged me close I could feel tears on my neck “don’t cry sweetie ill protect you no one is ever going to hurt you again” I cooed. Whispering into his ear repeating it again and again.
After his tears had subsided he looked up at me with his big blue eyes and light brown hair “You promise” he said looking into my eyes.
“I promise “my words filled with the conviction I felt to protect this little boy.
He smiled at me his face lighting up I couldn’t help but mirror his action with a smile of my own.
I looked to see my pack members shocked at our easy embrace and my protectiveness directed towards this little boy.
“What’s your name sweetie “I was curious to know the name of this little angel.
“Kevin” he smiled.
“You have such a cute name Kevin just as cute as yourself it fits perfectly” as I said this I nuzzled his neck causing him to
break out into giggles.
His giggles were so infectious me and my warriors were all laughing along with him.
“Come on why don’t we go home and I’ll get you something to eat at a bath maybe we can have some hot chocolate”. I
smiled at him.
“Yaay hot chocolate” he giggled.
We started walking back to the pack house with me in the front leading with my warriors close behind walking silently.
Kevin rested his head on my shoulder I could tell he was tired.
His next words shocked me to the core.
