The kid finally waited until Mummy woke up and cried uncontrollably.
"Mommy, you're finally awake… We were so scared..."
Even Lucian, with tears on his face, was sobbing silently.
Rosalie had just woken up. She was weak, and her heart was aching. She comforted them softly, "I'm sorry for scaring you, but thanks to you, I’m awake now."
The little ones’ cries subsided.
Nox choked up and asked her, "Did you hear us just now?"
Rosalie pursed her lips and smiled. "I heard two crybabies almost crying. I was afraid that you would cry, so I quickly woke up. But you still cried anyway."
In reality, she was half-awake earlier, but her physical strength was not enough to wake her up completely.
She fought hard and woke up from the coma when she heard Nox and Estie’s voices.
She found them in tears as soon as she opened her eyes.
Rosalie's heart was full of guilt. "I'm sorry, it's all my fault for being too careless and making you worry like this."
If she had been careful, she would not have fallen for Xander's tricks.
Lucian was the first to stop crying. He frowned and shook his head. "No, it's all the bad guy’s fault and not Mommy’s fault! Mommy, you’re the best doctor in the world!"
She always used the word ‘guess’ and kept her posture extremely low.
Old Master Loewe appreciated and praised her even more. He even smiled a few times. "No wonder Quentin Luke has been hiding such talent all these years. If the medical world finds out that there’s someone like you, I'm afraid those old guys are going to come and wrestle you away from him!"
Rosalie took advantage of the situation and said, "It's Professor Luke’s good teaching over the years that allowed me to focus at critical moments."
The smile on Old Master Loewe's face grew bigger. He sighed joyously. "What a good candidate."
Then, he looked down at Lucian on the side with a smile. "You kids are great too. Each of them is smarter than the other. We would’ve been unable to make it if it weren't for Lucian’s help in finding the herbs."
Rosalie looked at the little ones around her and smiled in relief.
