Chapter 2376
Inside the electronics factory in the suburbs.
At this moment, the sky outside the window was gray, and the afterglow of the setting sun had long since dissipated.
Madeline glanced at Ava next to her, who looked weak. “Ava,” Madeline called out to Ava. “Ava, are you hungry?”
Ava moved her eyelids and leaned her head on Madeline's shoulder very tiredly. “Maddie, I'm so hungry and sleepy. The man said he’ll get us something to eat. What is taking him so long? Why isn’t he back yet?”
“Someone like him might be having a good time right now.” Madeline guessed.
“Then why did you trust him and strike a deal with him?” Ava joked before sighing. “Back then, I thought that Meredith was crazy and perverted enough. I didn't expect that there are so many women like her.”
Madeline laughed and sighed. “There are always people who’ll do heartless things in order to achieve their goals, but I believe that such people will get their due punishment and retribution in the end.”
Ava curled her lips and smiled. “Then I hope the retribution will come sooner. I hope God will come to take action against that demonic woman Naya soon so that she can be punished as soon as possible.” “Hmph.”
The moment Ava finished saying that, a disdainful chuckle suddenly came from the door. Then, they could hear a female voice uttering an arrogant statement.
“I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed because no matter what, you won't see the day I get my retribution.”
Ava suddenly opened her eyes, raised her head, and straightened up.
Ava's face changed, and she seemed to be scared. “ Naya, what else do you want? Why did you get that thug to kidnap me and Maddie here?”
“What do you think I want?” Naya sneered and pushed Ava away. “Ava, you’re so naive. Since I’m standing here now and letting you guys know that ’m the one behind this, what do you think I’m going to do?”
Naya said, slowly lowering her gaze. There was an extraordinarily eerie cold look in her eyes.
“I want you to disappear from this world forever, of course.”
“You want to kill me and Maddie?” Ava's eyes narrowed. “Naya, the person you hate is me, and it's me you want to get rid of. This has nothing to do with Eveline, so you should let her go. If you want to kill someone, you should just kill me!”
Madeline frowned. “Ava.”
