Chapter 2367
Ava was stunned when she heard that. Then, she saw the caller ID flashing on the screen.
‘Why is Maddie calling me at this time?’
Ava was still wondering when the man suddenly picked up Madeline's call.
Madeline had no clue about Ava's kidnapping. She just wanted to ask Ava when she would return to the old manor. She did not expect a man to answer the phone.
“Who are you? Where’s Ava?” Madeline subconsciously felt that the person answering the phone was not a good person because the way the man spoke and his tone was rather rude.
“Who are you to Ava?” the man asked proudly.
“You should answer me first. Who are you? Why do you have Ava's phone?”
“Ava? Since you’re so worried about her, you must be Ava's good friend or best friend. Let me tell you this. Ava is with me now, and I want ten million as ransom, so hurry up and get ready to pay up. Otherwise, don't even think about seeing Ava again.”
When Madeline heard this, her heart skipped a beat. Ava was kidnapped?
“Why should I believe what you said?” Madeline questioned.
The man did not waste any time. After hanging up Madeline's voice call, he immediately made a video call and pointed the camera at Ava.
Madeline saw Ava with her hands tied behind her back. She was being held hostage beside a pile of junk. A strong sense of worry crept up from the bottom of her heart.
She immediately wanted to stand up and try to get out, but her bound feet made it hard for her to stand.
“Naya, you’re definitely the one behind this. You must be the one doing this to me, you maniac!”
Ava figured that this man must have some sort of relationship with Naya.
She angrily struggled, but there was really no way for her to break free from the ropes that tied her hands and feet. She had no choice but to give up.
After the man hung up on Madeline, she looked up at the man sitting in the driver's seat.
Jeremy's deep and charming eyes were staring into her eyes. “Ava was kidnapped?”
“You heard what the man said just now, right?” Madeline frowned worriedly. “Jeremy, what do you think we should do to minimize the danger Ava is in?”
