Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman novel Chapter 2016

‘Am I actually hateful in Mr. Whitman’s eyes?’

She felt more and more aggrieved, tears of dissatisfaction fell from her eyes. Exasperated, she then raised her hand and swept the perfume bottles on the shelf.

“Jeremy, Eveline, I hate you!”

Hannah yelled at Madeline and Jeremy, then she turned around and ran away, not caring where she was running to.

Jeremy frowned. He did not care about Hannah, but he felt sorry for the smashed perfume.

“She broke some of them, and now the quantity isn’t right. I’ll ask the factory to work overtime,” Jeremy said and was about to make the call.

Madeline stopped him and said, “It doesn’t matter. Mr. Sutton is very easy-going, and it’s not a lot, so he won’t mind.”

Jeremy knelt and picked up the broken perfume bottle. “What I feel sorry for is your hard work.”

Upon hearing this, Madeline’s heart warmed. She smiled and walked up to Jeremy’s side, then she squatted down and cleaned the perfume on the ground with him.

“I think she’ll come back again, ” Madeline predicted.

Jeremy knew that Madeline was referring to Hannah.

“Don’t bother with this person anymore. To be honest, she has a weird character.”

Madeline agreed. “She is very confident, but a little overconfident. The most outrageous thing is that she still insists that she’s right.”

“Linnie. ” Jeremy got up and took Madeline’s hand. “Don’t think about this person anymore.”

“Okay.” Madeline smiled. “I’m going to F Country in two days.”

“Do you want to bring Lily back?”

“Yes, I want to bring her back,” Madeline said with a melancholy sigh. “Regardless of whether Fabian agrees or not, I have to give it a try.”

“I want to go with you.” Jeremy’s eyes were full of expectation.

“I hope my wife can successfully bring my precious daughter back. When that happens, our family can be reunited again.”

Madeline smiled softly when she heard that. “ I’ll try my best to fulfill my husband’s wishes.”

She smiled as she promised. Two days later, she got onto the plane to F Country.

In F Country.

Inside a simple apartment.

Shirley  sat on the chair next  to the balcony. Her eyes were closed as she basked in the rare winter sun.

Suddenly, she heard Carter’s dissatisfied grumblings behind her.

“What do you mean no? I’m already in F Country and you’re telling me no? I’m telling you now that you have to make it possible even if it’s not! ”
