Loveless Marriage novel Chapter 177

Seeing what Rachel was doing, she was surprised: "So this is what you have been working on? Looks great. Come and have a kiss."

She then lowered her head and gave Rachel a kiss on the forehead before pulling her up, "I'll take you to lunch."

At this moment, there was a knock on the door.

"Please come in."

It was Minh. Seeing them, he laughed: "Miss Jones, are you guys going for lunch?"

"Yeah." Isabella helped Rachel put on her jacket and stood up to look at him.

Minh pushed open the door and walked in: "Do you need my help?"

Before Isabella could say anything, he had already walked to Rachel, squatted down, forced out a smile which he thought was very gentle, then said in a flirtatious voice: "Little sweetie, let me take you to lunch, okay?"

Rachel looked at him indifferently.

Minh embarrassedly smiled and continued to coax her: "I'm Miss Jones' colleague who sits outside. We've met many times before. I won't hurt you. "

Isabella was so disgusted that goose bumps appeared all over her body. She couldn't help but pat him, "Enough, I'm almost scared by your vulgar look. Leave her alone."

"..."

Minh pouted his lips and looked at her with an aggrieved expression. His fair and handsome appearance had the temperament of an idol celebrity.

Seeing this, Isabella laughed, "Let's go. I'm starving to death."

In the morning, in order to avoid Christian, she had just eaten a little under their company. Now she was really very hungry.

Pregnant women's appetite was really good. She could now eat even more than a man, which made her quite upset.

Minh looked at Rachel gloomily, then stood up and followed them out.

The other staff also left for lunch.

At this moment, someone shouted at the door, "Which one is Isabella Jones?"

Everyone was taken aback.

Isabella was also stunned. She looked over and saw a man in working uniform carrying a big bag and walking over, "Hello, I'm looking for Miss Jones."

Everyone then stopped to watch her as they passed by.

Being stared at by everyone, Isabella could only say, "I am."

"Oh, Miss Jones, this is your order."

The man then handed over two large lunch-boxes.

Isabella was dumbstruck, and her expression was extremely stupefied, "Order? I didn't... "

When did she order a takeout?

Seeing she didn't take it, Minh quickly take it over and said, "Have you even forgot that you ordered a takeout?"

Then she continued to taunt Isabella, "You're truly capable, Miss Jones. This small department has really become yours. Unlike mine, they just know how to sing a different tune with me."

Hearing this, everyone's face changed.

They weren't idiots. Heather's words would only make things harder for Isabella.

After being silent for a while, Isabella said in a calm voice, "Miss Cotton, if you want to let your horses run, you have to feed their grass. Only by being nice to them will they work well. If I kept a straight face like you every day, my fellows should have been scared away.”

"If you truly think I'm capable, I can tell you my experience some time."

Heather, "..."

After Heather left with a gloomy face, Isabella waved for everyone to enter the office.

Closing the glass door, the girl who talked before immediately patted her chest in fear and said in a frightened voice, "I was really scared just now. Gosh, that woman is crazy."

The others all praised her. "You're amazing! How can you react so quickly?"

Minh nodded in admiration as well, "Girl, you really won a tough battle just now."

Hearing this, the girl became a bit shy. Then she looked at Isabella, "Miss Jones, I just realised that the food was probably ordered by Mr. Miller and was afraid that you may be embarrassed, so I said that we together ordered it... But I haven't expected that Miss Cotton would say such a thing. If Mr. Smith heard about this, would we be in trouble?"

Hearing this, Isabella felt quite guilty.

Her pregnancy would eventually be exposed no matter of what. Since they were helping her like this now, she didn't know if they would blame her if they were to know she was pregnant.

With a heavy heart, she smiled and said gratefully: "Thank you for what you did just now. I will take care of Mr. Smith, so you don't need to worry about that."
