Love beyond the mask (Whitney) novel Chapter 931

The heat radiating from the man and his surprising strength immobilized Tiana, her red lipstick leaving a mark on the mirror.

Parker's gaze fixated on that lipstick mark before coldly shifting upwards to her tear-stained eyes.

He scoffed, a mocking chill in his eyes, "Crying, are you? Thought you were all set to marry into wealth, dressing up in that provocative gown for Barclay's approval. Tiana, you've hit a new low for me, utterly repulsive."

Stung by his words, she lowered her gaze, noticing his hand pressing against her chest.

The deep V-neck revealed more than intended, a consequence she hadn't anticipated when choosing the gown, instinctively shaking her head, "It's not what you think..."

"Take it off!" His voice was devoid of warmth, his eyes dark with unrest, perhaps from days without proper rest.

Confused by his sudden intrusion, Tiana's eyes widened.

"Need help?" His dominant hand moved closer, ripping the gown from her shoulders, his eyes a fierce red.

"Parker! What are you doing?"

Her scream was a mix of anger and madness, realizing she was barely covered beneath.

Yet, he paid her no heed, the luxurious gown now in tatters beneath his icy fingers.

Tiana's exposed skin shivered in the cool air, her dignity crushed in his relentless grasp.

"Parker, stop."

"Don't... touch me!"

Pinned against the cold mirror, the gown's hem lifted from her ankles, leaving her in her scant undergarments, tears streaming down her face.

"What are you even doing here? Have you lost your mind?"

"The one in the dressing room."

He instructed while pointing at various gowns on display, "This one, and that one, send all these choices to Endora. She can pick any."

Tiana, overhearing, clenched the curtain, her heart sinking.

The clerks scrambled to follow orders, leaving the display barren.

Parker lingered at a simple, elegant gown with a high neck and long sleeves, his gaze fixed before finally moving on.

Returning to his seat, legs crossed, a silent statement made.

Tiana emerged to find the display empty, her voice shaky, "Clerk, are there any gowns left?"

The clerks exchanged glances, "Madam, all the gowns have been sent to Miss Endora, except this one, not chosen by Parker."
