Jagoan looked at Kimbra, who was nodding seriously and thinking for a long time.
“Of course, not. Now that l’m on your side, there‘s no turning back. The Elvis Family finally found the Royal Family of the United Kingdom, so they obviously want us to go separate ways!”
Kimbra did not say anything more, but his intentions were clear. Once the wedding was successful, the Elvis Family would have a new backer.
When the time comes, they would be able to fight the Kurt Family as their technology was the top priority.
The Kurt Family only had the largest contribution rate of crude oil, so they did not play a decisive role at all. Even if they excluded Qari, there were just too many oil suppliers in the Middle East. Therefore, Kimbra had to do something about it.
“That’s what I thought too. It’s good that you understand. Then, let’s continue our cooperation tomorrow. We must ruin this wedding!”
After their discussion, Jagoan turned around and left.
Kimbra did not leave right away as he was still a man after all, there were many things he could do with money at a high-end bar like this.
Now that Jagoan was gone, it was time for him to show his talent. He picked up the phone and called the manager of the bar.
“Hello, sir. How may I help you?”
Kimbra was the current leader of the Kurt Family, so he had plenty of money. He casually threw a wad of money on the table before looking at him and said, “Here’s your tip…”
“Oh, thank you so much!” The manager kept the money and bowed immediately.
“Sir, I‘ll be at your service, so just let me know if you need anything!”
“Why are you still standing there then? I don’t want to stay in this room with you all night!”
“Got it. I’ll go ask!” The lackey quickly walked up to the ladies with two cocktails in hand.
“Good evening, ladies, this is a gift from us!”
Jagoan and Elibetha, who were chatting, glanced at each other with a smile.
“Are you here to hit on us?”
“No, don’t get me wrong. I work here… It seems like both of you aren’t working, so we’re here to offer you a job.”
Working at a bar would almost never amount to something good.
Jagoan was not some innocent girl either, so she had heard about these things before.
