Life at The Top novel Chapter 2195

“I understand, Jasper.”

The call ended here. Then, Julian chatted with Fidel and was honest with him for the first time.

After Julian explained everything, Fidel’s choice remained the same. It never changed.

“Since I made the choice, I should persist till the end…”

Half the Harbor Langdon came to a private restaurant, where Lord Alvarado and Henry had been waiting for a long time. A beautiful woman was sitting on the other side of the table, and this woman was Lorelai.

Lorelai saw that Jasper from yesterday did not show up at all, and instead, he let Lord Alvarado and Henry take the lead today. She could easily figure out the reason.

“Have a safe journey, Old Master Langdon!” Lord Alvarado said respectfully.

He was not being overly courteous. After all, the purpose of today’s dinner had been achieved, and if he kept talking, their plan might be exposed. Everyone also stood up to greet each other.

After Half the Harbor Langdon left, Lord Alvarado let out a sigh of relief.

At this moment, Jasper walked into the room slowly. “Ms. Bigelow, thank you for not exposing us just now.”

Lorelai was stunned after she heard that. “Why would I? It’s better to just watch…”
