Irresistible Boss Succumbing to Your Touch (Maria Anita) novel Chapter 3

Flavian’s POV

I left the apartment as quickly as possible, not wanting my little one to be disturbed. I was furious - who did that crazy woman think she was to confront me like that? My urge to put a bullet in her face and make her body disappear was almost uncontrollable.

I went through the building's entrance and found her on the sidewalk. I grabbed her by the elbow and dragged her to the corner. I was blind with rage, half-tempted to throw her under the first car that passed by. This woman was really pushing me over the edge.

"What the hell are you doing here, Sabrina?" I gathered all the little control I had left to avoid killing her and not yell in the middle of the street.

"What do you think?" She looked at me cynically, and I had to count to ten to keep from choking her.

"Sabrina, we made a deal," I reminded her, barely able to speak through my anger.

"Yeah, we did, but I changed my mind. I'm not giving you a month to set some trap for me." She spoke calmly, as if she didn't know what kind of explosive person I am.

"Trap? The trap was what you set for me, you son of a…"

"Leave my mother out of this, Flavian. Besides, she doesn't know anything anyway." Her face was placid, but her eyes had the fire of malice glowing in them.

"What do you want?" There was no point trying to reason with her. Sabrina was a spoiled, stubborn woman who simply wouldn't listen to anyone when she wanted something.

"You know what I want." She gave a provocative smile.

"It's not happening, absolutely not!" I made it clear that getting back with her wasn't a possibility.

"Are you sure? Let's ask your little nymphet what she thinks." Sabrina turned to walk toward my building's entrance.

I needed to understand why she came back, as she had seemed willing to keep our agreement. But there was no way I would let her confront Manu. Just then, a taxi was passing by, and I had an idea. I flagged it down, and when it stopped, I grabbed Sabrina, opened the door, and shoved her inside, slamming it shut.

"Owww! What's wrong with you, you brute?" She complained, but I couldn't care less.

"Are you at the same hotel?" I asked curtly.

"Yes, I…"

"I'll meet you in the lobby in twenty minutes." I took out a hundred-dollar bill and handed it to the driver, knowing it would cover about four trips like this one. "Sir, please only stop and let her out at the Savanah Hotel." The driver smiled courteously and merged into traffic.

I went back into my building. Now I needed to persuade the doorman.

"Hey, my friend, let me ask you something—what are the chances you saw me here?" I asked.
