Chapter 3897: Foundation II

A glorious Tower, enacted by an Early Creature!

The base of the tower was simple- primal, as if the very concept of ’tower’ had been born from its likeness. Spiraling etchings crawled up its side in curving arcs, each inscribed with unending infinity symbols, each line seeming alive.

The Tower was supported not by stone or foundation, but by nine Eidolons.

Nine archaic, ancient figures made of pearlescent cerulean shells and etched bone armament- each one a towering Sacred Living Eidolon of Infinity.

Their forms were draped in woven moss and plates of translucent armor derived from the shattered husks of Mythic Living True Signatures.

Each Eidolon bore a different pose.

One knelt, palms flat on the sands, head bowed.

Another stood with one arm raised, as if bearing the weight of Wheels

One leaned upon the tower as if he alone supported it on his back.

Together, they upheld the tower with silent devotion, their bodies locked in ancient positions that sang of burden, memory, and quintessential labor.

Above them, the Tower pulsed softly.

From its peak, streams of white-gold and cerulean mist poured into the sky. There were no windows, no obvious openings, only a singular spiral staircase carved into its inner wall, rising and falling endlessly, as if even the architecture refused to admit a top or a bottom.

The Tower stood gloriously.

It was the crystallized proof of his will, of the blood of an Early Creature finally manifesting its might into form.

And this...was only the first.

The streams of white-gold and pale blue drifting above the peak of the tower coalesced with meticulous purpose. They twined and thickened, swirling inward to form a singular structure- dazzling in its geometry and hue. It was a structure of cerulean-gold, its form veinous and alive, as if arteries of power pulsed beneath its translucent shell.

A vessel like structure formed at the top of the Tower!

He breathed. Only his breath, steady and slow, carried meaning now. His eyes opened just slightly- slits of molten gold and blue currently and infinity swirled within them.

His fingers closed into the sand, feeling the granules break between his knuckles like brittle fragments of time.

"So..." he murmured, the syllable barely brushing past his lips. "They lived in abundance."

He tilted his chin slightly, eyes narrowing at the information unfurling like sacred scripture before him.

Abundance! He had Abundance. Even if it might not be enough!

"The Heart, formed only through Veins. The Veins, created by the Towers. Towers... birthed from complexity and corpses of the ancient marine life I consume..."

Marine Lifeforms, Land Lifeforms, Sacred Herbs!

Early Creatures had many things in abundance, and he did not. Yet his path was similar to theirs.

He breathed again, deeper this time.

It meant the path forward was slow and costly. To attain even the foundation of what the Early Creatures once were, he needed what they had freely- oceans teeming with life, forests of Sacred Herbs, and mountains of purity.

But he was not born in their age.

He would have to forge what they had for himself!
