Chapter 3842: Living! VI

The searing lights of the Dyson Singularity pulsed in hushed rhythm, as if even they paused to listen.

Noah’s eyes held the same regal calm, their archaic glow casting ripples through the sea of paradoxical plasma around them.

He raised Moiraine’s chin gently, his fingertips brushing the faint golden light that shimmered along her jaw. His voice was even, but it carried the weight of quintessence buried beneath calm skies.

"What do you mean when you say THE Living Paradox left their weavings in the Loom?" His voice was measured, deliberate. "Expand on this."

As he pulled her gently to her feet, the full height of her radiance returned. Her wings, gilded in white-gold Paradox, unfurled with restrained power. The trembling luster that still clung to her body began to settle, though her weavings continued to hum with heightened complexity.

She looked at him fully, her voice smooth as velvet.

"It all ties to the Story of the Earliest Folds. The Creature. The Paradox. The Everything. But at the end of it all..." Her words lingered with the heaviness of histories long buried. "The Weavings of THE Living Paradox came to cover the Loom. It was not an event taken lightly. And it was not without consequence."

Her voice grew softer.

"Accessing the Loom became difficult for all types of Living Existences... but for us, the Living Paradoxes, it became nearly impossible. No, not nearly- it has been impossible!

Inevitabilities rise whenever we try. It is our inheritance. A punishment. A warning."

She turned, her gaze falling on the swirling paradox beyond the Dyson Event Horizon.

"We have not stopped trying. And so, the Inevitabilities have not stopped growing. Every attempt only brings more of them. Now, it is immeasurable. And over time, even the periphery of the Loom has become unreachable. There has been no solution."

She looked back to him, her eyes shimmering with golden-white defiance.

"Or... there was not."

Noah’s smile was small, but it curled gloriously.

His body continued to absorb the incomprehensibly pure weavings of paradox, the air around him sizzling with silent force. His complexity and purity had long reached the limit of 999,999, and yet, the number of Existential Dimensional Lattices across all aspects of his Existence only increased.

Hundreds more. Thousands more. Every second.

And still, he felt... light.

His eyes flicked back to Moiraine, her figure still radiant, still burning with paradox. His voice rolled out slowly.

"So," he said, "you look at me as a solution to a problem that’s lasted since the Earliest Folds. Whether that’s true or not doesn’t matter now. But before I cross the threshold into Originus Venerant..." He tilted his head, thoughtful. "Let me ask you."

His tone deepened.

"What is it that you want?"

Moiraine blinked.

A breeze of paradox shifted between them. fгeewebnovёl.com

Her wings folded back tightly as she inhaled. Her expression grew still- then cracked, just slightly.

"I know what I want as this is not a question for me." she said finally.

Her voice was firm, but low, as if she were speaking to herself as much as to him.

"Purpose and Beginning. They are set in stone for us Foldless Ones. I was born a Living Paradox in a place you cannot imagine. And from that beginning, what I want has always been clear."

She stood straight again, voice rising with conviction.

"I want Paradox to reign free. I want to contribute to it. To shape it. To expand it. I want us to ascend."

Her eyes hardened, yet shimmered.

"But that’s not easy. Not with Inevitabilities. Not with other Living Existences who do not understand." Her lips tightened. "So I continue. I must continue. I want to reach..."
