As he stepped deeper into the root-forest, it became quieter and quieter.
As he delved in, a few seconds later...the world shifted.
BZZT!
A wall of vine-like Origin Weavings snapped up around him, stretching out in a circular formation to form something like a birdcage all around- sealing him inside an arena of living flame-etched flora.
Sigrid shouted from behind as she couldn’t reach him. She slammed her palm against the vines, but they didn’t budge!
"It’s fine," Noah said, raising his hand calmly.
Ahead of him... five Green Tier Living Origin Golems rose from the terrain. They shimmered with structures of Archetypes.
One wielded dual axes, another bore a tower shield and massive blade, a third hummed with magical glyphs over its body, a fourth drifted silently with daggers, and the last towered with molten fists.
Noah’s voice was low.
"Let’s see what 100 Resistance Archetype Points gives me."
...!
Then the earth pulsed.
BOOM.
Ten more Golems emerged. Fifteen in total.
"..."
The atmosphere became oppressive.
Master Shen’s languid expression became serious as he seemed to be dealing with the issue of Master Hannibal currently, but seeing Noah’s expression that didn’t seem fearful, he only watched.
Sigrid’s eyes were stern as she watched with somberness.
The golems closed in.
But Noah?
He closed his eyes.
He reached inward.
Into his Garden.
To the node...
To [Fireball].
Not the usual one. But one filled with Living Origin Authority!
He poured everything into it.
His entire Living Origin Energy.
BOOM!
The moment he unleashed it, the world turned crimson-gold.
Endless orbs of flames exploded from his position. Like meteor showers from an emerging sun, the fireballs surged out in every direction, impacting the golems with blinding force. Some detonated mid-air, scattering runic infernos. Others struck squarely, searing molten symbols across their bodies. Trees combusted. Land split.
A hurricane of fire.
Everything turned red and gold.
But when the smoke settled...
None were dead.
Burned? Yes.
Heavily injured? Absolutely.
But they stood, emotionless.
And they began walking forward again.
Noah exhaled, his body now empty of Origin Energy.
He shouldn’t have been able to cast anymore.
But...
His eyes narrowed.
He reached deep.
To the Source.
"O Living True Source of Origin."
...!
"Are you not living?" he whispered. "Do you not hold Living Origin Authority?"
HUUM!
He funneled his infinite mana into it.
The thing he may be paying the cost of without knowing!
The Living True Source of Origin within his Living Wheel stirred.
And then...
It awakened.
Authority sparked as it flowed from his Living Wheel and into the Living Origin Garden!
As if the energy from one system of power tried to flow into another.
And at first...it was rejected.
But it was an authority of Origin. And it was...
"It is Living."
WAA!
Noah spoke coldly to the crimson gold Garden.
When he sensed the rejection, his eyes pulsed with Tyranny as he bellowed out!
"It! Is! LIVING!"
HUUM!
He battered the authority again!
And again!
Forcefully.
Until eventually...
Living Origin Authority flowed from his Source and into his Garden.
HUUM!
The Fireball node... lit up again.
Mana flowed.
Mana transformed into the authority of his Living True Source of Origin, and this Authority flowed into his garden to activate the Living Origin Authority!
