I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 133

Chapter 133 Yanis, Are You Angry?

Ivan sent Yanis to the main entrance. When he saw the black Bentley parked at the entrance, Ivan frowned a little. Then he looked back at Yanis, "If you haven't got the inspiration, let's go somewhere else after I'm done?"

Yanis responded, "No, I think I do have an idea now. Thank you for today."

"Don't mention it."

Yanis smiled, "Then bye, be careful while driving."

Ivan hummed. When Yanis turned to walk towards the black Bentley, Ivan suddenly called out, "Yanis."

Yanis looked back at Ivan, "Yes?"

Ivan stepped forward, put the umbrella on Yanis's head, and tilted the umbrella a little bit, "Your hair is messed up."

Yanis touched her hair, "Better?"

Ivan nodded, "Let me send you to the car?"

"It's okay. Don't bother."

Ivan hummed, straightened his umbrella, and looked up at the black Bentley parked aside.

No matter who was sitting inside, Ivan's actions just now were intimate enough.

Ivan hooked his lower lip somewhat self-deprecatingly.

He failed to be the gentleman he wished to be in front of Yanis.

He couldn't see through the car window, but when Ivan looked over, he felt as if he had met someone's gaze, which gave him a sense of oppression.

Zane looked coldly at Ivan, who was standing at the entrance of The University of Armstrong. "Ivan returned to Manches City?"

Albi was stunned when he heard this, and then responded, "Yes, the Bexter Group has made some big moves currently."

Zane looked back after hearing that, "Does the Bexter Group still focus on jewelry?"

"Basically."

Zane said nothing more.

When Yanis came over, Albi got out of the car and opened the door for Yanis, "Ma'am."

Yanis was about to get into the car when she saw the person sitting in the back seat. She froze for a few seconds before getting in, "Why are you here?"

Albi closed the door, then got in the car.

The car left quickly.

After the car drove away from The University of Armstrong, Zane said, "Why didn't you answer my call in the morning?"

Zane wanted to bring Yanis over in the morning, after all, they both graduated from the University of Armstrong.

And Zane had other plans.

He called Yanis several times but she didn't answer.

He had an appointment with the principal, so he didn't wait.

He didn't expect to meet Ivan and Yanis at the University of Armstrong...

It reminded him of what happened in the Sunrise Wedding Planner last night.

Zane felt someone was stealing his thing bit by bit, both today and yesterday. He didn't like this feeling.

Hearing Zane's inquiry, Yanis said in the usual tone, "I didn't want to answer."

She was curt. She didn't even make an excuse.

She just didn't want to answer his call.

Yanis' answer made Zane's expression even colder.

For a moment, the air in the cramped space seemed to freeze.

Yanis was a little moved.

"Thanks."

Anika smiled at Yanis, "Yanis, we are families."

Yanis smiled.

Zane looked at Anika and asked, "Did Sophia come?"

Anika shook her head, "Grandma just called and said she and Sophia would come over later."

Zane glanced at his watch, "It's raining outside, I'll pick them up."

Anika hummed, "I will take good care of Yanis."

Zane got up and stood up, his eyes fell on Yanis. He hesitated, wanting to say something. In the end, he didn't. He took the car keys and went out while making a phone call.

After Zane left, there were only Anika and Yanis in the huge living room.

Anika's enthusiasm cooled down a bit when she noticed the gauze on Yannis's hand.

She couldn't move her eyes from it.

Seeing that Anika was silent, Yanis looked up at her and found that she was staring at her hand.

Yanis recalled the way Anika was held in Zane's arms yesterday and moved her injured hand away from Anika's eyesight. Then she looked at Anika, "Anika, I heard from Zane that you haven't been feeling well. Do you feel better now?"

Hearing Yanis' question, Anika looked away. With a smile, she nodded at Yanis, "I am much better, thank you, Yanis."

After speaking, Anika stretched out her hand and gently took Yanis' injured hand. She asked softly, "Yanis, does it hurt?"

Anika's eyes were a little red, which made Yanis a little stunned for a while, but she quickly answered, "It doesn't hurt. It's nothing serious. It will heal in a few days."

Anika looked up at Yanis with tears in her eyes, "Yanis, last night... did I scare you?"
