His Unveiled Passion novel Chapter 426

Sienna nodded. "She's one of the Smiths, isn't she? I actually bumped into Diana at the mall a few days ago. What about her?"

Naomi didn't even hesitate to drop the bombshell, saying gloomily, "She likes Quentin."

"What?" Tessa and Sienna blurted in unison.

Naomi mumbled glumly, "I only found out about it yesterday. She suddenly came to me and asked me whether Quentin was home. Then, she started bombarding me with questions about what he was doing and who he was seeing. Everything, really.

"When I prodded her, I found out that she's had a crush on Quentin for over a year."

Sienna said, "That's interesting. Diana doesn't look like the type to have a crush. Hasn't she dated several guys over the years?"

Naomi replied, "According to her, she's only making her rounds with men to make Quentin jealous."

Tessa and Sienna exchanged a look through the screen.

Why did Diana word that statement in a way that made it seem as though Quentin was interested in her? Why did Diana think that Quentin would get jealous if she dated someone else?

Naomi must've felt awful hearing that.

Just as they expected, Naomi continued huffily, "I confronted Quentin about it and asked him whether he liked Diana. He denied it, but I was still so mad that I got into a fight with him."

She inhaled deeply and hissed, "Diana tried to get close to me so she could sink her claws into Quentin. How do I know this, you may ask? Well, she bought me a Louis Vuitton purse as a bribe."

Naomi's lips curled into a sneer. "Do I look like I can't afford a Louis Vuitton purse? Screw her and that damned purse of hers."

Sienna quickly comforted her, saying, "Quentin probably doesn't have any feelings for Diana. If he did, they would've gotten together long ago. Besides, I can tell that Quentin's serious about you. You two should talk things out instead of letting some random outsider ruin your relationship."

Tessa chimed in, "I agree with Sienna. Plus, you should be able to tell how much Quentin cares about you, right?"

Naomi snorted disdainfully. "Please. Men are all liars. Talk is cheap, and sweet talk is even more so. As for Quentin caring about me… How am I supposed to know if it isn't just an act?

"Look at Henry! Hasn't he been really nice to his current girlfriend? Yet, he also told us that he wasn't serious about her."

Sienna pursed her lips and thought to herself, "Naomi has a point. Henry is a bit of a scumbag."

Henry had been dating that college girl for at least half a year. However, he had never once brought her to meet his friends or family. It was clear that he had no intentions of introducing her to his social circle. In other words, he wasn't serious about her at all.
