Evadne savored her chocolate with unhurried grace, "After the incident, I had a hunch there was a mole in our team. I've been quietly keeping tabs on everyone. But you, you've been good at keeping your composure. You didn't make any contact with Caroline. Had I not laid this trap, baiting you into a rash move, you would have probably gone into hiding. Catching you red-handed would have been difficult."

"You know about Caroline? How did you find out?" Despite his predicament, Kevin was solely concerned about his girlfriend.
