Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1761

The four walked unhurriedly on their way back to the courtyard.

Suddenly, Hector said, "There's some business I need to take care of, so I'll head back to Seastone tomorrow. I'll visit you again when I find the time."

After speaking, he glanced at Scott and Hank. "You two are coming back with me tomorrow."

Scott's face instantly fell. They were leaving already? It had only been two days!

On the other hand, Hank didn't mind leaving, but… "My Mini Stone Turtle is still with Benjamin. I have to stay."

Scott immediately chimed in, saying, "If Hank's staying, I'm staying too!"

But Hector didn't give them the chance to refuse. "No. You have classes to attend, and you can pick up the Mini Stone Turtle sometime later."

Since he was leaving, there was no way he was leaving the two behind with Shannon.

After the major incident at Zaprath School, Shannon would undoubtedly be busy handling everything. If the two stayed, she'd have to worry about settling them down too.

There was no way he'd leave Shannon with such a hassle.

With his final decision made, Scott and Hank had no room to argue. They could only sulk and reluctantly agree.

Though Scott was disappointed that his Demon District adventure was coming to an end so soon, he perked up and reminded her, "Shannon, remember what I said.

"Use whatever methods you need to and make sure Benjamin feels a sense of crisis, or he won't take you seriously. Just look at what happened today. He pissed you off, didn't he?"

Hank scoffed. "Enough with your ridiculous ideas."

"Ridiculous? This is a completely rational suggestion! You've never been in a relationship, so you have no right to question me." Scott argued back.

Hank smirked. "Oh? And you have?"

"Of course I have! Not everyone's like you." His one argument completely knocked Hank down.

He'd tried analyzing Verus' scale in an attempt to trace the source but found nothing, so this time, he decided to absorb it himself.

The Dragon Vein could sense all things. Only by personally absorbing and sensing it could he truly trace its origin. And now, he'd found the source.

Benjamin lowered his haze to see the wisp of putrefaction slowly separate from his palm. The moment it left his hand, it transformed into a drop of black liquid and dripped onto the ground.

The golden light in his palm dimmed slightly, and a faint grayish scar seemed to remain on his skin.

In the room, Hank's Stone Turtle had been quietly watching him the whole time.

The instant the black drop fell to the floor, it rushed toward and slammed its foot down onto the putrefaction. At the same time, its body pressed down in a stance of suppression.

Benjamin watched its movement and picked it up. Then, he uttered in a deep voice, "Your true form hasn't recovered yet, and your emerald body alone isn't strong enough to suppress this putrefaction.

"This time, I'll do it myself."
